Our driver Rafael was prompt courteous and friendly. He shared helpful tips about the ferry. Know that this is for the auto ferry which takes 90 minutes to cross, the upstairs is bright cleanBesut and has AC. We used the link to rent a golf cart. LONG day from SJU (6:45a-8p) but a beautiful beach day trip!

I enjoyed the beach the only thing to me. It’s just expensive to get there like you have to pay transportation to get there which was $400 in additional money has to come out when you get to the dock because you have to pay a cab to the beach, then you gotta pay to get into the beach. And the beach had a lot of seaweed like it wasn’t as pretty as the picture would show you, but it was nice water. It was a good time because of who I was with.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad you enjoyed your time at Flamenco Beach. We would, however, like to clarify the costs for future guests.
Our service is $75 per person and includes secured round-trip ferry tickets, plus round-trip transportation from San Juan to the Ceiba Ferry Terminal, with an early 6:45 AM departure and approximately 7:00 PM return. We do not charge $400 for transportation.
Once in Culebra, transportation from the Ferry Terminal to Flamenco Beach is approximately $10 per person round trip, and Flamenco Beach admission is approximately $2 per person.
We’re not sure what additional transportation or services resulted in the $400 mentioned in this review, but that amount does not represent our pricing.
Regarding the seaweed, beach conditions can vary naturally from day to day and are outside of our control.

Our driver Jonathan was very nice and communicative. He made the trip very smooth. My boyfriend and I didn’t realize the return ferry from Culebra docked at a different location right next to where we were dropped off so we missed our ferry. Jonathan helped us find a ride home so he didn’t have to worry. 5 star service.

Truly horrendous!!! DO NOT USE THIS SEVICE if you want to envoy your day.
Printing out the wrong tickets for another day, not even realizing it if we don’t call them, then providing new tickets 5 minutes before departure, then having an over 20 minutes delay on the pick up to head back because we needed to “help” the other group who ended not even going with us so we waited for nothing

For anyone reading this review, it’s important to understand what our service provides. Every day, we successfully transport guests from San Juan to Ceiba, secure their ferry tickets, ensure they arrive in Culebra, and safely return them to San Juan. Thousands of travelers have completed this experience with us, and our reviews reflect that commitment.
Regarding your concerns, an unexpected ticketing error did occur. Our staff immediately corrected the issue, secured the proper ferry tickets, and ensured every guest boarded the ferry and completed the trip as planned.
As for the return transportation, this is a shared shuttle service, not a private transfer. Before departing Ceiba, our drivers verify that every guest from our tour has safely returned from the ferry. This is a safety procedure we follow on every trip. Once all passengers were accounted for, we departed back to San Juan as scheduled.
We understand that delays can be frustrating, and we continually review our operations to improve the guest experience. However, this isolated operational issue did not prevent you from receiving the complete service purchased: round-trip transportation, ferry ticket coordination, transportation to Culebra, and a safe return to San Juan.

Would 100% recommend. I was solo traveling and my phone ended up getting damaged on the island. Jonathan picked us up and he went out of his way to try and help me get my phone fixed. He also dropped me off at my hotel since I could not order an inverted from the drop off location. Thanks Jonathan!!!

This tour was fantastic and took all the stress out of getting to Culebra. Having the round-trip ferry transport and tickets entirely handled and purchased for us was a huge plus. The drive out was incredibly nice, and the guides gave wonderful explanations of all the different areas we passed along the way. If you want a smooth, enjoyable trip to the island, I would absolutely recommend using them!

The beach was beautiful but the sea weed was too much. (Blame the storm for washing it all up.) The shuttle pick up was very convenient and alot better than figuring the route out. The driver was nice and gave a lot of tips about the island as well as things to do throughout Puerto Rico after the excursion.

Highly recommend using them to get to Culebra beach. You don’t have to worry about buying a ferry ticket and waiting on long lines. You get picked up and dropped off at the marina. They tell you exactly what you need to do. ITS WORTH IT

The ferry ride to Culebra was longer than I expected. However, Flamenco beach at Culebra was so beautiful, the traveling was worth it. Clear, calm waters - you can’t beat it!! Our driver Jonathan was also very sweet and friendly. Definitely recommend booking this tour!

Edwin our driver to the ferry was GREAT! I highly recommend booking with this company. Also the ferry ride not bad at all air conditioned and took about a hour and a half to get to culebra island.

It’s a very early wake up but the driver was there early and got us to the ferry quickly. You don’t have to worry about tickets he will print them out and you are on the island a little over an hour. Driver recommended Flamenco beach and you can’t go wrong. The most beautiful water and views!! The return is the same just use the same ticket or take a picture incase you lose it. Driver was there as promised and got us back safely. It was raining and you really have to know where you are going so this package deal was worth it!!

The ride was very comfortable to the ferry. Johnathan was professional and polite. Make sure to state your 1st and last name for the driver to know who you are, last name was not enough and could have gotten left if I did not show my email to the driver. None the less Culebra was an amazing experience.

1000/10 would recommend! So easy for us first timers to san juan/PR. The beach was incredible and the transportation was super easy and our driver was fabulous! Jonathan was the best!

Overall island experience was good. Driving around with the golf cart was probably the most fun. The water at Tamarindo Beach for snorkeling was a bit cloudy and not much sea life except for one stingray and small reef shark. We were able to leave our beach bag while we went snorkeling without issue. The one comment I have is the ship was 1 hour late to depart, which cut short the time on Culebra island without any extra hour on the back end to accommodate.

The boat ride can make you very ill if you're susceptible to that sort of thing. Also all the ride vendors yelling at you when getting off the ferry can be disorienting. We had a great experience other than that. Our ride to Cieba was awesome, our driver Jonathan was top-notch. Professional company all around!

Overall the experience was amazing. For me personally I don’t like to wait. I felt a lot of time was wasted waiting for the ferry, waiting for transport. That time could/should have been utilized better to enjoy more of the island. I’m not sorry I went and I would absolutely go again, just keep in mind over half the trip is spent in wait and travel. It’s a 12 hour experience and maybe 5 hours is actually spent at the beach.

Your ferry time may be changed so plan ahead. Our ferry was bumped to 8 pm - thus the 4 stars instead of 5 - much later than we wanted to get back but the trip was great otherwise. Flamenco Beach is as beautiful as the hype and the water and vibe is amazing. Our transportation was very good and our driver, Jonathan was punctual, polite and gave us the info we needed at arrival and for departure. Glad we took this excursion.
