Fabulous half day bike ride to Montmorency Falls. Offered a different perspective to the city experience, with a great and knowledgeable local guide. Highly recommend. We originally booked self-guided option but somehow tipped into the guided one ( for a few more $$$) and it was a great decision.

Lovely receptionist but options for rides was limited to two, and bike was underwhelming. The throttle didn’t work.

Bonjour,
I am sorry the experience was not up to your standard. Most of the bike paths of Québec City are along the Saint-Lawrence River. We are limited to those in our suggestion.
We actually disconnect the throttle on our bikes. The law in Canada makes it a gray area regarding the usage of throttle, which is why all of our bikes are pedal assist first. We also disconnect them as most of the injuries on our bikes are caused by a bad usage of the throttle. We feel it is safer and abide by the laws of our City by disconnecting it. On request, we sometime reconnect it, but most of the time, we disconnect it.
Again, I apologize that the experience was not up to your standard.

The prices are very reasonable and the bike trail was easy to navigate. It is especially good for beginners because you are on a bike trial and not heavily congested traffic areas. We did the two hour trail which was enough time along the St Lawrence river.

The map handed out should have more detail, I.E. the street names. It was hard to tell where you were without street names on the map. Also, I thought I’d signed up for a group ride with a leader directing the way, but it was actually a bike rental and they give you a map of the city with trails. (The map was the itinerary, haha).

We rode along the bike paths to Montmorency Falls. We took e-bikes which made it very easy for us. The bike shop staff were great and very helpful. We did our own tour though guided tours were available.

We took bike path to Montgomery Falls.
It follows the St Lawrence but you are beside the highway and can not see the water. So disappointing view.

One of the bikes broke and we had to wait for a taxi to pick us up. Wasted alot of time. Should have checked bikes. They did offer a full refund and paid for taxi to bring us and the bikes back.

I am sorry the experience was not up to our usual standart. I have checked the bike that you used on the rental. You ended up having a flat on your tire.
We proud on the quality of our bikes. We maintain and verify all of them before you leave. A flat tire on your rental is unfortunately not something we can predict. Debris will be on the tracks and we cannot predict that.
As you said, we brought you back as quickly as possible, paid for it and fully refunded the activity. A flat tire is not something we can predict which is why we have ways to bring you back.
I again apologize for any inconvenience. In the situation, we did everything we could to bring you back the safest and earliest way. Flat tires are unfortunately part of renting bikes. If there is anything more we can do, please reach out to us.

We rode our bikes from Château Fontenette to Montmorency Falls. It was about 10 miles each way and was a great bike ride along the bike path for the price which was about $40 each. DE bikes were a great deal. We were able to use Max assist if we chose to and had more than enough battery to get there and back plus some side adventures.
If you are riding around Quebec city the hills are significant so an E bike is pretty helpful
