The Cloud Forest is an amazing place to visit. It has a huge variety of plants, birds, and other wildlife - we even saw a female Capuchin monkey! Kevin was our tour guide. He has a vast knowledge of birds and plants. Kevin went above and beyond his duties to help us purchase the Cloud Forest admission which must be purchased separately from the tour. I highly recommend this activity. Early morning is the best time.

Loved this tour in Monteverde with Kevin! Just be aware that you need to purchase tickets for the park in advance. We didn’t know until the evening before, and we were lucky that Kevin was able to secure some for us at the last minute.

Kevin knew so much about the forest and its wildlife. It was a treat to see a nesting quetzal and its mate. Kevin was our favorite tour guide.

Kevin was very knowledgable and able to spot a good variety of birds and mammals. He also shared interesting facts about the flora. We even saw the elusive Quetzel!

I would suggest you only do guided tour. Our guide was good. But did not see anything but a few birds. Thought it was NOT a good value. Your admittance only allow you to go on 1 trail or pay again. We traveled from La Fortuna to see, and wish we had not

I hope you're well. Thank you for your comment. The reserve is private; they decide on the trails, and my service is to give a guided hike in the cloud forest. Sometimes you see a lot, sometimes not so much, but the forest is always there.

It was a beautiful experience, with a unique and magic atmosphere in the forest. Kevin was an excellent guide, allowing us to spot several birds and giving interesting and rich explanations about the trees and the flowers we saw. I would definitely recommend this excursion

We had the pleasure of having Kevin for a private tour of the Monteverde Cloud Forest. Kevin shows so much love to the forested and its inhabitants and loves to share his knowledge. He has a great talent to call birds, and we'd had a long and fascinating view of the rare and beautiful Quetzal, an amazing experience. Kevin is also a fun guy with whom it was a pleasure to spend time.

We did the cloud tour early in the morning with Kevin. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. He took a great amount of time to help us see the Resplendent Queztal. We didn't see it the first time around, but he recommended a walk to La Ventana in the park, which we enjoyed, and when we came back, after the tour officially ended, he found us and took us to see the bird. It was a fun day all around.

Kevin was awesome! He is an amazing naturalist that found birds we would have never found ourselves. He has a vast knowledge of the natural history of the forest and shared it with our multi-family group in a way that was engaging and interesting. He helped us get great photos of wildlife through his scope to allow us to remember all that we saw beyond our tour with him. I’d highly recommend him as a tour guide!

It was raining quite a bit the morning we had the tour but we still got to see many birds and monkeys and an agouti and peccaries. Kevin was an excellent guide and he had amazing knowledge of birds and trees and animals. I would definitely recommend going on this tour.

Thanks to the directions of the guide we could see a couple of quetzals, which is one of the biggest attractions of the park, something that is not always achieved. Since it was not high season, we could enjoy a tour for only two people. The duration was shorter than stipulated, but in any case it was worth it.
