It was overall a good excursion. It seemed like a lot of time in the vehicle, so it kinda dragged at times. They could do away with the horse ride, it was really short and the horses appeared unhealthy.

From horseback riding, to chocolate making, cigar rolling, sightseeing and Macao Beach, this was one of the best tours I've ever been on during my travels! Our tour guide, Robinson, treated us like family and immersed us into the Dominican culture. This was an incredible experience for my kids (ages 8 & 11). They learned that there was life beyond the all-inclusive resorts and were humbled by the kindness of the Dominican people. We also all loved the traditional food we were served! If I could give this tour 10 stars, I would! I highly recommend it to anyone who visits D.R.!!!
