Overview

Going through the mud and the cave was spectacular! I would recommend this company for ATV riding! The quick stops on the way to learn about coco, coffee and liquor were knowledgeable. Awe the cave experience was awesome , do dive in the water! The beach was nice and the view was beautiful looking at the Atlantic Ocean !

My experience was good. Riding the ATV was fun. We seen cows, goats and horses. They told us how ground coffee and chocolate powered are made. My only probably was that everything was to fast and I couldn’t enjoy it. We had 5-10mins to jump in the cave and they were rushing you out. I couldn’t even put my clothes on properly. But overall good not great.

I had an amazing time on this activity. It was nice to ride around and see the scenery, animals, people and more. Tour guide was super nice and hilarious and took great care of us during our time. Pickup was right on time and location was wasnt too far away. I definitely recommend!

This excursion is not worth the money. Please, just pick something else. Pick up was smooth. Communication about that was great and consistent. Our driver didn't speak any English, but he got us there and back safely. The guides are very nice, but that isn't enough when it comes to safety. My boyfriend and I did the ATVs. Mine was fine, but his went down twice. The second time one of the guides made it seem like it was something my boyfriend was doing wrong. "Don't touch here." Mind you, this isn't his first time driving one. Throughout this tour, several buggys went down too so prepare for a lot of stopping. Majority of them seemed pieced together with Wobbly and mismatched wheels... I swear to get one of the ATVs to start, they were touching wires. In my opinion, the group was way too big. They should have split the ATVs and buggies up. We were rushed the entire time. 15 minuted to talk about the coffee and hot cocoa, 15 minutes at the cave, then 15 minutes at the beach... Constantly being begged to buy things or give money buy the locals that swarm because they know you are touring. At one point, some local kids were running beside my guy's ATV grabbing it and tugging at his back pack! I approached one of the guides about it and apparently that's a thing. He calmly said he saw it and told them to not do that once he caught up to them. He also told some people in our group to stop giving out money because that made it worse... I'm sure they were doing it to try to get some peace. Maybe say that before we depart?

Good morning Mrs. Leah, unfortunately they are children who live around where the tour takes place and as the guide told her, if she gave them money the others would want them to give it to them and the thing would not stop there because they are children who dedicate themselves to that's why we suggest customers not to give it. bugguis and ATV tours are shared as they are all-terrain vehicles. Her boyfriend on several occasions broke the safety rules and for this reason he was called to her attention. The all-terrain bugguis are coblas like this since they are prepared to go through water and mud puddles. They are special for that, the same as ATVs.

This was one of the best ATV tours! From the info at the front through the whole trip the guide was funny, informative and made it more fun! Loved learning about coffee and chocolate. So fun getting dirty!

Awful ATV experience

This tour is awful and not worth the money. Me and my girlfriend and 2 other friends went on this excursion and all their machines breakdown during the trip with atleast 10 people that I could recall. My friend front brakes did not work after they inspected her ATV and 5 minutes into the tour she crashed into a brick wall and thank god she is still alive and not paralyzed. They never offered her another ATV or rendered medical attention or gave me my money back for her not completing the tour. My other friend ATV stalled out twice during the excursion. There are to many other group tours doing the same thing at the same time so it’s to congested and you can’t really enjoy riding your ATV. I suggest you skip this tour and don’t waste your money. They try and sell you everything from Bandanas to goggles to water etc. Use your money on something else and I’m trying to get a refund for my experience that was awful but in the end I’m just thankful my friend is alive after having a faulty ATV on the road crash into a brick wall and land on her smh 🤦‍♂️.

what a shame there are people like you. The first thing is that our excursions always go a paramedics and mechanics. At no time did we have any accident reports with his friends, if so we would have given them the proper medical attention. second in the trail of the tour there is no brick wall anywhere. I was investigating with the employees and we have no report of any incident that, as you say, will not go unnoticed either. what happens that after doing the excursion you asked for a refund which was rejected because your complaints do not resemble reality. It is normal and we have already seen cases of people who come, make the excursion, everything goes well and then ask for a refund regardless of the damage they do to others. It is rare that you have asked for a refund 5 days after taking the tour claiming something that you know did not happen. You need Jesus in his heart because I see that he is playing with the sweat of many people who have made it difficult for us to get to where we are. happy afternoon

So the ATV place was actually a dune buggy place. I literally had to beg for ATVs to be given to me and the person I was with. Then when we got our ATVs they only gave us one when we specifically paid for two (one per person). Eventually they gave us our two so just make sure you speak up for yourself if needed. At first my ATV kept breaking down on the road and I had to hop on the back of my friends anyway. But they did bring another ATV to me after our first stop on the tour. After that was sorted out the excursion was AMAZING! I had so much fun. I loved being with the locals and going to their beach. The water was so clear and the people were good vibes. For the tasting portion, that hot coco was THE BEST I have ever had. My absolute favorite stop was the cave. There was a diving spot inside of the cave. If your brave enough to jump into 20 ft deep water in a cave then you will have an epic story to tell. Overall the staff was very helpful and nice even with the problem in the beginning. I highly recommend. I had the best time!

okay so I'm only giving this 3 stars because I travel quite often and almost ALWAYS book ATVs for my excursions. when I tell you this specific tour was CROWDED.... that would be an understatement. I'm used to going 15-20 mph on 4 wheelers. We literally drove about 6- 7 the ENTIRE TIME. There were a bunch of other groups on our same excursion at the SAME TIME. We stopped soooo many times and when we got to the cenote there were so many people there already and we couldn't go swimming due to crowding. you're only there for a few moments and then its time to go. the ATV staff was very helpful and sweet but there was just thing after thing that made us not want to book again.

good morning, is that the tour that we do as an ATV company, there are also other companies that do the same. the cave is something public so it will always have more people. and on the other groups they belong to other ranches that also do this type of excursion. It is already something that does not depend on us because these ranches have their permission to travel the same as us (sorry)

Awesome ATV ride. We had a blast. Tasted some Dominican coffee, chocolate and green tea. Maceo beach was beautiful! Didn’t swim in the cave, but others did. Would recommend!

All the tour companies go to the same places the cave, the beach & the house. Slow pace, the time you spend at each place range from 15-20 min. To many ppl in the groups & to many stops due to all the companies all in the same places. Many ppl tryna sell things & begging for money when you make stops .

Beautiful and lots of fun experience! The flyer says is a 4hours activity, it is only 2. If you add the moment they pick you up at the hotel makes 4 hours. Other than that, Everything else is perfect. Ps. Bring a set of old clothes because you are going to get dirty with the dust and mud. Make sure your phone has service in DR.
