Explore some of the most beautiful natural scenery in Czechia (Czech Republic) and Eastern Germany with this full-day hiking experience. Meet your guide in the morning in Prague and then travel for approximately 2 hours to what is known as ‘Czech Switzerland’. This was a fantastic experience. Everything went seamlessly, and it was a perfect day. Our guide Martin thought of every detail and took great care of us, including bringing water, snacks, rain gear in case of weather, etc. He also has a great sense of humor =) The hiking & views were totally worth it. If possible, he will try to take you to the arch before they open which is extra special, because you get photos without other tourists in the background. He will also take your photo for you on your phone, and at the arch his father also takes professional photos of you which will be emailed at a later date, no extra charge! Martin also gifted us many souvenirs including magnets, postcards, etc. all made by his father, a professional photographer. Finally, lunch was also provided and was delicious! This trip was the highlight of my time in Prague. Highly recommend if you want to be out in nature all day with beautiful views and pictures to remember by-just be prepared for lots of hiking! =)

Great hike, exceptional customer service! Martin was very prompt, gave us a wonderful day of hiking. Very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Gave us lots of good tips of things to do after our hike while in Prague. Extra book and pictures of the areas we visited were lovely. His English was excellent. I loved this trip and highly recommend this guide!!

Such a wonderful day! Nice weather, lovely guide, cool group and amazing views! The price totally worth it. I felt like VIP the whole time. Our guide Martin did a wonderful job in leading the group and You can definitely tell he has great expertise. He was so gentle, polite and fun. I was traveling solo but he really made me feel comfortable and welcome. The views were stunning. You need to do some hiking but it totally worth it. His father took us plenty of photos with a professional camera with the stunning views.
Lunch was delicious with vegetarian meal options and nice views surrounded by nature.
The ride was comfortable and the mini bus was spacious (we were all 7 people) and I truly appreciated that we were not crammed like sardines like in some other tours. Martin provided lots of really delicious snacks and always made sure we have water with us. At the end of the tour he gave us magnets, postcards, books and a crystal glass which is elegant and cute. I would rate this tour 5 stars without thinking. Sometimes you go on a tour and regret it, but if you don’t book this one you’ll regret it. Such a peaceful experience and a memorable day.

Martin was wonderful. This was an off the beaten path for a chance to see some of the beautiful “country” outside the city. Great tour with great views and a chance to have some local authentic Czech food! Great family time. Truly memorable!

So VERY thankful and grateful to have had Martin as our guide. It could not have been a more enjoyable, memorable, and wonderful experience. He was extremely attentive, caring, helpful, warm and welcoming.
He had thought of everything needed to make the day go well. From bringing hiking sticks, umbrellas, constantly checking the weather to see whether the places we were going to would be alright. He went above and beyond as a guide in taking us hiking and sightseeing.
He kept surprising us with things such as his father meeting us at the arch and taking professional photos at multiple places. It was amazing to see the work his father has done in photography and the history behind the places we went to.
My mother and I could not have been luckier and would recommend Martin to anyone seeking a fun day outside of Prague. I will definitely be contacting Martin in the future when we come back to Prague for any tour!!

Martin was truly a wonderful host. I use the word host because he was so much more than a guide. He treated our group of 7 as if we were family and he was showing us his favorite places. He managed to remember us all by name and made sure we were comfortable at all times. His passion and pride for his country was delightful. Exceptional day trip! Thank you Martin!

It was a perfect day. We saw a lot of great locations that we would’ve never found on our own and had a nice little boat ride in the valley. Great hiking trails with amazing scenery for photos!
Martin is a tremendous tour guide. Very informational and funny. He took us to a family restaurant that has great food & beer and ice cream at the end of the day.
His dad is a professional photographer and will meet you there to take family photographs for free.
If you like moderate hikes this is a must-do!!!

This was an excellent tour, we got to Bastel bridge before all the crowds, the gorge and the natural bridge were very nice. Luch was really good.
Martin was very nice and answered all the questions and informative very friendly, his father took very nice pictures too. Martin made sure we had enough food and water and bathroom breaks the whole time.
Just a warning, there is a lot of walking up and down stairs and trails some of them slippery so book this trip only if you are a good hicker.
And we got really nice souvenirs at the end!

Martin was a wonderful guide! He was very organised, knowledgable and talkative. He shared lots about Czech history and culture and the places we visited. He was offering us snack and drinks, we had some great local dishes for included lunch. He knew all the good places to make photos. He picked and dropped everyone at our accommodation locations and was punctual and great driver. On top of all that at the end of journey he gave us all some gifts. Martin should be your top choice!

Martin is a great guild and took us through so many beautiful nature landmarks and introduced us a lot of good tips to travel around Prague. We love the hike and the views were amazing--it was a little bit challenged, but we all very glad that we made it. Hope to re-visit again when the weather is nicer (it was raining).

Really enjoyed our Full-Day Private Hike in Czechia and Saxon Switzerland with Martin our guide! He had a great way way of passing along his vast local knowledge that made the trip both enjoyable and educational. The scenery was breathtaking as the fall colors were vibrant. We didn't get the privilege of meeting his father who is an amazing photographer and will offer to take photos of you while on the tour. The lunch and snacks provided were excellent along with bottled water. I would not hesitate to book this tour again or advise friends and family to take it!

A highlight of our trip to Prague was our walking tour with Martin. He organised everything perfectly and went above / beyond to make sure your experience was memorable. On saterday the 30 of september we went on a trip with a really nice group led by Martin. We went to the bastei-bridge and cěské švýcarsko, it was beautifull🤩
Martin was a really nice caring guy and we immediately felt welcome. He had taken care of the trip very well from (vegan) food to tranportation.
Further he knew a lot of fun/interesting facts and his dad took amazing pictures of us!
We really had a great day and we recommend it to everyone!!

Honestly, this is a long day but it is absolutely worth the time! Our guide, Martin, is native to the area and has worked at the gorge as a boatman. His knowledge of the area is extensive. Martin exceeded all expectations. He anticipated our needs; he provided snacks,water,rain jackets and even hiking poles! His dad is also a renowned photographer of the area and there is an amazing collection of his photos of the bridge and surrounding area in the gallery at the lodge. It rained the entire day and I would still say the tour is excellent, Martin made what could have been miserable marvelous! Thank you for offering this amazing tour

Martin was extremely knowledgeable in talking about the sites. He was always catering to what we wanted. He even blocked off portions of the hikes for us so we could get personalized pictures take by his father. It was an amazing experience.

If you are looking for an intimate tour where your tour guide if friendly, approachable and knowledgeable, without being talked at, Martin is your guy!
You won't feel like a number with his attention to detail! Martin is always checking in with the needs of the group, and is genuinely open to adjusting to pace of the group (there is quite a bit of walking on this tour but note that is simply part of the nature and a minor price for breath taking views!). However, knowing the ins and outs of the area Martin does know a couple of short cuts to help out the group! He also puts in the effort for a couple of surprises as time allows for them. This tour hands down was the highlight of my trip and in such a gorgeous country rich in history, there was some stiff competition!

It was complete full day tour with Martin, kept us enjoying nature-hike with his fantastic talks and kind nature. We were treated so special and privileged with him throughout the day, showed us Bastei bridge (with easy walk), downhill hiking for boat tour in serene nature (steps were bit easy) with boat men playing mouth organ & comic way of showing each stone with story, a beautiful lunch nearby followed by uphill hiking to Pravcicka gate, privately photographed for life-long memory. Martin is so approachable and kind who made our experience fantastic. His father showed his art gallery with awesome collection of bohemian area which we never thought of. Magnets and glass printed with name is just like cherry on top of cake. (due to photo limits, could not upload). We learnt czech culture, history and people during tour & ended our tour with many learnings for our life. Many many thanks for all hospitality Martin. we truly enjoyed our time with you. You have surprised us with every moment in a day. Never forgettable time !

We have got a great experience for this private hike with Martin (local guide). He is a good car & boat driver, and tour leader. We can see all of the places as our expectation during raining. We have to say especial thank you to our private photographer (Mr. Julius). Your photo was so nice. Thank you Martin for the gift especially our name on glass cup. We have got a wonderful time for this trip although it was a raining day.
