I’ve started doing a bike tour our first day in a new city to get a sense for the sites and the history. It’s also a great way to stay awake if we have jet lag. This tour was especially good. We went places we never would have seen on our own (monastery near the castle, park overlooking the city, and the John Lennon memorial wall, for instance). Thomas was very knowledgeable and chose interesting stops with importance on many levels (art, history, politics, culture, etc.). Two warnings: Prague is quite hilly so choose the e-bike option unless you’re training for the Tour de France, also, going down steep cobblestone lanes with a light rain was a bit nerve wracking. I love that we did it, but I would not recommend this tour to people who are uncertain on a bike. Overall a great experience for us!

Great tour of Prague - well informed friendly guides. Took us 3 hours - excellent way to see the city - coveted 7 miles . We are cyclists so hills weren’t a problem but would suggest e bikes if you aren’t used to hills .

Andy was incredibly knowledgeable. She asks what you’re interested in and caters the tour to maximize your enjoyment. She’s flexible on pace and the amount of history provided. Super nice. Took me to some great photo spots. Can’t say enough nice things about her. Her lunch recommendation for post tour was delicious! Best tour in Europe!

Our guide Tomas was fantastic.. informative, funny and he speaks very good English.
The tour took us to parks and great views of the castle from behind. You do need to be ok riding on city streets for part of the time.

I booked a sunny day in January and had the tour all to myself! My guide, David, was very knowledgable and showed me all of the great spots in Prague. Being on a bike means you can see so much more in a short amount of time! They provide a bottle of water and upgraded the bike to an e-bike, which made it easier to ride on the cobblestone hills. 10/10 would recommend.

Tour with the e scooters was amazing! We had a private tour as we booked last min. Guide was amazing and even took us on a longer tour b/c we requested to check out the best drinking places. Essentially, semi beer tour of prague as well.

Great communication from Ecotours as soon as we had booked. We opted for a private tour and had Alex as our guide who was excellent. He gave us lots of info and plenty of photo opportunities. The electric bikes were great and made it easy to get around once we’d mastered them! Would definitely recommend.

We took this tour to get an idea about the main attractions in Prague and hopefully learn something about this new-to-us city. Our guide was very nice and friendly, but gave us close to zero information about the places we visited, which left us very disappointed.

We had a great time with our guide Kate. She was very friendly and informative, did things in our pace, took as many pictures as we asked her to, and took the time to give us additional information about where to eat, how to use public transportation in Prague and any other questions we thought to ask her. The ride itself is very pleasant, mostly through a park that goes along the Vlatva River up to the Prague Castle, with great viewing points along the way. I just caution everyone that this is mostly uphill, so if you dont feel like a bit of extra exercise, you should upgrade to the electric bikes which are also available. All in all, we had a great time and a certainly recommend this tour.

The company sent a cab to pick us up from our flat which was nice! They provided us with water.The sites we saw were amazing. Some of them were off the beaten path because you can bike farther than you can walk, so we didn't see them in other tours we did. The guide was great and had a lot of info. But, be prepared, Prague is a hilly city and the bikes used are mountain bikes, not electric bikes. I didn't realize how many hills were in the city which I should have researched, but didn't. Because I have joints issues, the tour probably wasn't as enjoyable to me personally but my friend who was with me is a cyclist and he loved it. It really comes down to personal preference. But again, I cannot emphasize this enough, be prepared to bike up a lot of hills. All in all, we probably did 9 miles in 3 hours including the stops for descriptions and pictures. Luckily, the guide was nice and patient I had to walk up the hills, my knees couldn't take biking up them, weird, I know. Later the guide said we could have upgraded to electric bikes prior to the booking, I didn't see that as an option so if you want to save yourself some work, I would look into that! Also, just a heads up, cobblestone and bikes seats are not the most pleasant combo, your butt will probably be a bit sore for a few days! But, most of this isn't their fault. It really was a great tour, I just want to forewarn people

I loved this. Touring by bike is an excellent way to see a city. The tour guides are super knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour. We lucked out and got electric bikes. We didn't think we'd want them but YES they were super nice to get up the hills. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat!

Rich was our guide and he was awesome, very fun historical stories and full of energy. The ride was beautiful, thru parks and non crowded streets. Highly recommend it. great way to see the city! Spoke english very well, even stopped at a cafe for a drink.

This review is way late, but I just want to highlight how great these guys are. We had originally booked a bike tour with them, but on-arrival, it was raining and one of my friends was uncomfortable with handling the bikes. One guide brought out all these different types of bikes for us to try while they waited patiently for us to test out the bikes for over an hour and never lost their sense of humor. They took us all around Prague, answered all of our questions, and were just wonderful the whole time. I would book these guys in a heartbeat - best tour guides of our whole Europe trip.

Wir hatten eine private e-bike -tour gebucht und mit David einen kompetenten und sehr netten Guido zugewiesen bekommen.
Die Tour war in deutscher Sprache und wir haben sehr viele Infos erhalten, die nicht unbedingt im Reiseführer stehen.
Wir empfehlen die Tour unbedingt weiter.
Kleine Empfehlung: ein e-bike buchen,es sei denn man ist absolut im Training.
