Important Learning Experience

We had an amazing adventure learning about the Jewish Quarter in Prague. Our guide was exceptional in her knowledge and ability to translate that knowledge into compelling stories. She showed us all of the Synagogues, explained in detail the significance of each one, and gave us great insight into the long Jewish history in Prague. The Jewish Cemetery portion of the tour was quite interesting as we learned about the long history of the many generations of Jews buried there and the traditions associated with the Burial Ceremonies. Excellent investment of time and a compelling tour. Difficult to hear about the terrible atrocities committed by the Nazis but important that we remember these terrible things so we don’t repeat them.
