Nice drive and Castle - Better attention needed

It was a good trip. The bus was clean and windows nice for views. We had 3 languages on board and it was tough for the guide to keep up and be informative. Seemed most concerned about meeting the time schedule than guest comfort and walked up a very steep hill to the castle ahead of a group that had a lot of elderly people in it. We were early for our tour, so I am not sure that was necessary and the steepness of this foot travel should be better outlined in the information. No food was provided or recommended on a trip that lasted from 10-3. No eating or drinking was allowed on the bus. I was glad to have the transport, but felt for the price, details could have been handled better. I would recommend, but make sure people know the obstacles and are prepared.

Castle was a wonderful fortified one. Very interesting. Sadly the tour guide added almost nothing to the the tour by way of narrative. The website should have warned about the very high climb.

Very enjoyable trip to Karlstej Castle, guide was very funny and told us some interesting stories. Also the medieval festival was great at the castle. The castle is really beautiful!

Easy to find meeting point. Excellent and personable guide (Teresza). Beautiful castle. Probably more interesting to Czechs given the history of Charles IV.

The ride was not very long and scenic. The town is quaint and was a nice way to spend 1/2 day. I would have liked more time to wander the castle although it is sparse.

The trip was Good! But your description should really make it clear that the walk up is a VERY AGRESSIVE HIKE. we made it up but almost took away from the Lovely Castle.

Great day out. Beautiful sights and historic castle. Took the horse and cart ride up to the castle which was a nice touch. The hill is very steep and you would need to be really fit to walk it. Back in Prague for 3pm to enjoy a nice lunch and a few drink in the old square near to the drop off point. All in all a very nice trip. Guide was freindly and informative. I would recommend this trip to anyone who loves historic castles.

Sarah the tour guide was really nice and knew a lot about the castle and it's history. She also gave tips on the shopping in the village and made sure you had a fun time. The castle is lovely and in a beautiful area with a very quaint village to go through. Just know it's up a hill. o
