Great communication and good life story. The guide knew Prague and Slovakia very well. As a fellow brewer it was good to spend time with a guide that was also a home brewer. He knows his stuff! The three spots we stopped were off the beaten path and not something a tourist would just stumble upon. Good size pours and great local food.

My husband & I arrived at the meeting place and found Marik, our guide, very easily. We were the only ones on the tour so it was really good to have our own 'personal' tour guide. While walking from pub to pub Marik gave us lots of information and answered questions about the city. We both thoroughly enjoyed the evening, there was plenty of excellent beer enjoyed and we had a delicious traditional Czech meal in the final pub. Many thanks to Marik for making our last evening in Prague so memorable.

A fun tour with lots of beer

We had a great time on our beer tour, guided by Vojta! There were only 3 of us on the tour, but it was nice to have a smaller group to be able to ask many questions. We learned about beer in Prague/Czech, and also learned some things about Prague itself. We also got to stop on our way from one brewery to another to see the rotating head statue by Franz Kafka. Highly recommend this tour!

We had a lovely tour and got some nice insights into Czechs history and it's connection to beer. Our guide was very nice and friendly. We tried out many different beers that tastes great. Would definitely advice anyone to take this tour.

Patrick, our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about beers, he looked after us very well and made sure we had a great evening. We were the only ones on the tour, so it felt very relaxed and intimate. The 3 breweries we visited were all interesting and different. I had let the tour operator know it was my husband's birthday and Patrick arranged a special drink at the start and end of the tour. We had informed them we are all vegetarian and he checked what we could eat and instead of appetizers we had a delicious meal at the final brewery. This was a great way to spend an evening in Prague, drinking unique beers whilst seeing Prague by night. A very special birthday to remember.

Not quite what we expected, although fun

I'm sure this was a very unique situation and won't be applicable to most people. We signed up for this tour the day-of, after a DIFFERENT craft beer tour cancelled on us. We booked a tour in English, expecting to be part of a small group. Ultimately, the group ended up being the the two of us as well as 14 Germans who were all traveling together! So, the tour was mainly in German, with the guide then translating things to us after-the-fact in English. We get much info about the breweries or the beers beyond the bare minimum, but I think this was due to the unique nature of this tour. The germans were ready to party, and I don't think they had much interest in the intricacies of craft beer or the breweries haha. Patrick, our guide, was very friendly, personable, accommodating, and attentive. He didn't give much explanation about the bars and the beers, but of course was happy to answer any questions we had. Again, I think this is only due to the fact that the German group we were with was pretty much "self-sufficient" - they were having a fun time together getting drunk and weren't too concerned with the details. This should not be a reflection on the tour guide, I think he did his best in the situation. Him being multilingual (Slovakian, German, English) was very beneficial here, obviously. Ultimately, we had a fun time. The Germans pretty quickly opened up and most were able to hold conversations in English. The beers were tasty, and we had delicious and plentiful food at the final bar. Also, we pretty much had unlimited beer at the final bar - true to the description of this tour! At times it felt isolating, being the only English speakers and not knowing German. We were lucky though, because I imagine that if we were with a different group (people who didn't speak English at all) it would have been a very disappointing experience. I was hoping for a more educational experience, learning about beer styles and customs, cultural relevance, brewing process etc.

A very tasty pub crawl

Top tour led by the excellent Vojta. He took us to 3 micro brewis ever walking or getting the tram. The beer was excellent and plenty of it. We had a bite to eat at the 3rd brewery and stayed there until we wanted to go. The other people on the tour were very nice and Vojta was very knowledgeable. A lovely afternoon/evening..Recommended

Definitely choose this tour as a wonderful introduction to Prague and Czech culture! Marek did an excellent job of explaining Czech beer, history, and culture throughout the tour. He went out of his way to make me feel welcomed and even provided helpful tips that made my overall stay in Prague more enjoyable. I highly recommend for solo travelers or groups. Na zdraví!

Our Host: Martin Havlicek via Viator We honestly had a GREAT time with this. Our host, Martin Havlicek, treated us to a wonderful evening of learning about Czech beers (Pilsners mainly, but Ales as well). We were there off-season (Feb-2023) and even though we were the only couple on the tour that evening, he made us feel as though we were old friends out for a night of beer “tasting” and story swapping. Learned a lot about Prague/Czech beers, wines too, all things cultural that could come up while drinking and eating with great company. Special thanks to Martin for being open to our many, varied, and sometimes non-sensical questions as we proceeded through the evening. Highly, highly recommend doing this beer tour, can’t say about other any of the other tour guides provided through Viator, but I can say we had a memorable night in Prague hanging out with Martin. Going to recommend this to my son, who will be traveling here on his own in the coming year, actually think I’m just going to “gift” it to him with a ticket, like me I know he’ll love it as well. Thanks Martin, hope this gets back to you 🤘🏻😎

We had a fantastic time on this tour. We visited three breweries and sampled several beers at each. The price of the tour included ample beer and a choice of appetizer at the last brewery. Our guide was very knowledgable, and the conversation was as interesting and free flowing as the beer. Highly recommend!

Martin was fabulous, knowledgeable and fun! Our tour was just me, my wife and Martin. Not only did he take us to great beer locations and school us on Czech beer facts but he also showed us around the area and provided a lot of historical, cool nuggets of information. He also showed up how to use the metro (THANK YOU). Highly recommend this tour. And Martin-you’re awesome!!!

This tour had good/decent spots which is why I gave it 2 stars but other than that everything was very blah. The tour guide was nice but she had no knowledge of beer. She even said she didn't like drinking beer. This could have been a much better tour with a better tour guide.

This was awesome! The tour was extremely well organised and facilitated throughout. We were give background information about each beer and also the unique brewing process used in the Czech Republic. We visited 3 micro breweries all with unique qualities. Our tour guide was great. He achieved a balance of passing on information while encouraging the conversation within the group. The final stop provided some food which was outstanding, if it’s one of the options you need to try the cheese. Your tram ticket is included as part of the price which will be needed to get around town.

The highlight of the tour was deffinitly the last place but the other two were also nice and there was a good variety of locations and beers. The tour guide was friendly and gave us good recommendations on other things in Prague to do. The group was a nice size and it was great drinking beer and talking with everyone.
