We had an AMAZING time in this cooking class. We make it a point to try to do a cooking class in every new country we go to, and this was perhaps my favorite one we've done. Ondrej is not only a very skilled and knowledgeable chef, but we had so much fun with him! He's such a warm and funny person, and you can really just tell he loves what he does. The food we made was absolutely delicious to boot. An added bonus was Ondrej's adorable kitten Cassian who kept us company ❤️

A fun and informative experience from beginning to end! Chef Ondrej is warm, welcoming and keen to share his knowledge of cooking techniques and traditional dishes. We joined another group of lovely people to make 5 of us in total. After a tour of the local farmers market and a little socialization over a glass of wine, we were off to Ondrej’s apartment for an afternoon of cooking and eating. There was lots of opportunity for hands-on practice, personalized instruction, and ability to ask questions. It is a great opportunity to experience a bit of the city and culture with a local person. Highly recommended!

If you want an authentic, small group Czech cooking experience this is the place to go. Chef Ondrej (pronounced "Andre") created a wonderful farm to kitchen to table experience starting in one of the best farmers markets we have seen and ending with a traditional feast. Along the way we picked up knife use tips, tried some delicious samples and coffee at the market, and enjoyed his very friendly cat. Ondrej has cooked all over the world but has a special affinity for his native Czech cuisine. We have taken cooking classes in many countries and give this event our highest recommendation.

This is the most memorable experience my partner and I are taking away from Prague. Ondrej showed us around a local market, he curated a menu for us while accommodating dietary restrictions, and then proceeded to host us in his charming flat. Then there’s the actual cooking experience. I’ve finally properly learned how to hold a knife, to dice an onion, julienne a pepper, and so on. Ondrej made us feel so comfortable in his place and offered beer, wine, water, etc. and bites throughout the day. Truly such an incredible experience. Thank you Ondrej!

Chef Ondrej is an amazing and talented instructor. You can tell he is passionate about his craft and enjoys sharing his knowledge with others. He worked with everyone in our group and taught us how to improve our knife skills, how to properly prepare certain vegetables, let us smell and taste all of the ingredients we were using, and we even learned how to properly poach an egg! Learning how to prepare a traditional Czech meal was both informative and fun - not to mention delicious! The afternoon had a few unforeseen challenges, but Chef Ondrej worked through them well and provided a wonderful experience. His thoughtfulness and hospitality made this event truly memorable.

Chef Ondrej was incredible! He is passionate and talented at what he does. This was the highlight of our two week European vacation. Ondrej was a great teacher and we learned so much. There were only 5 of us and it was a great group. Lots of fun and joking. Ondrej took us to the market first and we got to really experience it, he knew many vendors. We had samples and also had time to look around and buy things on our own. We cooked at his beautiful apartment with a professional kitchen. Everyone had plenty to do and the food at the end was delicious! It felt very real, not at all commercialized, but private and customized. We wholeheartedly recommend this class to everyone. Thank you Chef Ondrej!

The chef met us at the market and explained what we were purchasing for our meal. We all participated in the preparation and produced a fabulous meal! He provided all the recipes so we could replicate them at home. Awesome experience!

Highly recommend. Ondrej is not only a great chef but is kind and considerate. He caters to each person in the group to make sure that everyone has a unique and memorable event. The food not only tastes delicious but he provides plenty of great wine and beer to drink as you cook. I wish him success and would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn good techniques as well as a new style of cooking.

We were fortunate to have a private lesson as the others had cancelled. We met Ondrej at the market to pick out some of our supplies, have a glass of wine before heading to his kitchen to cook our 3 course meal-all of which was excellent.

Chef Ondrej shared his day with us, showing us the culture of Prague in the market and his exceptional recipes. We met at the market and went first for wine that we drank while getting acquainted. Next, we were in the market as he was choosing our ingredients and introducing us to his friends there. We ubered together to his home where everything was set for our cooking experience. He taught us so much throughout our time there. It was hands on and fun to visit while we cooked together. The soup was our favorite, and so very flavorful. We will most certainly be using Chef Ondrej's recipes to cook for a family at home. It was an honor to get to cook with such a wise and talented chef.

Chef Ondrej is an approachable, personable chef that makes the student experience as enjoyable and smooth as possible. He takes pride in his work, can be a little harsh in his instruction but that's only for our safety's sake. Chef Ondrej is highly flexible and accommodating, and it was a pleasure to learn Czech cuisine from him.

What you get with Ondrej is an authentic experience. You aren't taken to some sterile commercial catering premises.You are invited into his home and are treated as friends. It's an intimate and fun day with a passionate chef who clearly loves teaching other people about cooking. You learn hints and tips along the way as well as learning more about the Prague food scene. And you get to sit down to eat a great meal at the end. A thoroughly enjoyable few hours.

Cooking with Chef Ondrej was a highlight of our trip! This wasn't just a class, it was an entire, Prague experience!
We started out at a market to buy special ingredients from the makers themselves, tasted some fine Moravian wine, and hopped on a tram to finish with an outstanding cooking session & dinner, with an exceptional chef. Ondrej welcomed us into his well-equipped kitchen, where we laughed a lot & learned, not just recipes, but how to cook!! He taught us knife skills and secrets of timing and ingredients we never would have had access to otherwise. As a result, our dinner, including dessert, was superb!
