This is a thoughtfully planned tour.
The chosen restaurant was a highlight. It is a local chef with a menu that can vary to use fresh seasonal ingredients. We actually booked tour without the lunch but ended up eating there because Ondrej is in contact with the chef earlier in the day and could ensure the food selection fit the diet restrictions. It was amazing! Take the lunch option! It is just far enough off the man square that we would have missed it on our own.
The stop at the small farming village gives extra dimension to life in Czechia that you miss the cities. It also allows for a drive through the beautiful countryside off of the highway and a visit to a local ceramic shop. It's actually pretty hard to find locally made, reasonably priced mugs in Prague so I loved this.
Cesky Krulmlov itself is a stunning fairytale town viewed from the castle and same for the castle as viewed from down in the town. We were there before castle interiors opened for the season which was disappointing but also when you're trying to time your visit to miss crazy crowds this is just what happens

Our tour guide, Ondrej, is very knowledgeable with his craft. He is detail oriented. One can tell that he really loves what he does. As the tour progresses, he has consistently checked on us as well if we need anything and if we're comfortable during the long ride. He did us right by not canceling the tour eventhough there were all 3 of us that booked since it's off season and we surely appreciate that. Overall, we highly recommend his services and please keep him in mind when considering tours outside Prague.

Our host, Andre, was so very friendly, knowledgeable and considerate to our needs. He made the tour a very fun experience! He chose a restaurant for lunch which was delicious and fresh, with a very sweet owner. We were greeted by Ondřej from CZECH OUT TOURS in a comfortable clean new Peugeot for the ride. He is so personable and informative. It could not have been a more enjoyable day. Lunch was great, the beer was fun, the sweets and coffee were sweet! He knew all the secrets which made the tour so easy to enjoy. He was also able to go the extra step to be flexible and help us with a personal issue that required extra time was able to handle more expeditiously for us. After Český Krumlov he drove us to the surprise UNESCO village and the museum there was the real special experience there- such a personable experience to meet the people that have lived there their entire lives. Ondřej was the perfect host for this full day. I would do this tour again and I highly recommend.

Perfect day! Our guide Andrew was personable and knowledgable. So many highlites - fairytale town walking tour with time to relax for a beer, lunch and shopping.
