Our Douro Valley experience with Fernando from Infinity Douro was exceptional from start to finish. Traveling with young children can be tricky, but Fernando made everything feel effortless. He was incredibly patient, kind, and flexible with the kids, and his calm, easygoing energy set the tone for a truly relaxing day. Fernando thoughtfully selected two fantastic small-to-mid-size, family-run wineries—each with breathtaking views and excellent wines. These were not touristy stops; they felt personal, authentic, and deeply connected to the region. Exactly the kind of experience we were hoping for. His van was immaculate, spacious, and very comfortable, and he provided proper car seats for the children, which immediately put us at ease. Beyond the tour itself, Fernando went above and beyond by helping us coordinate transportation around the region, something that is incredibly valuable in the Douro Valley region where rideshares are limited and unreliable. That kind of local knowledge and willingness to help makes a huge difference. Fernando is knowledgeable without being pretentious, easy to talk to, and genuinely passionate about the Douro. If you’re even slightly on the fence about booking this tour—don’t hesitate. Just book it. An incredible experience!! Alfredo was an incredible guide and crafted the perfect experience in the Douro Valley. He took us to incredible estates and we tasted the most delicious Port and dry wines. We ordered at least 7 bottles of wine to ship to the US. An amazing day with a great guide. Highly recommend. This is the best time and were extremely comfortable. We have no complaints and highly recommend this amazing experience.
