Meet your local guide at a prearranged meeting point a few minutes' walk from the Eiffel Tower and enjoy the start of the commentary about the famous landmark's history.
As you approach the tower, you'll proceed by elevator directly to the second level. Look around the second floor, which includes panoramic maps of Paris and a 1/50th scale model of the tower's original architecture. Enjoy views of famous landmarks like Les Invalides, the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre, and Notre Dame as you listen to your guide's engaging commentary.
Once your guided tour has concluded, you may continue to explore on your own. If you have booked the upgraded option that includs summit access, you can use the second elevator for access to the Eiffel Tower's summit, where you can get fantastic views from 1,063 feet (324 meters) up and purchase a glass of bubbly from the Champagne bar (own expense).

Excellent tour. Claire was an extraordinary guide and gave us great information about the tower and about Paris in general. She was knowledgeable, pleasant, and engaging. We ended up with only the two of us in the group, which effectively made it a private tour, but she brought the same energy and effort as I am sure she would with a full group. Great experience and worth the price.
Totally worth the price- we paid the extra for the trip to the top- the guide we had was great with lots of knowledge and we had a small group of 6 so she answered our questions and was very helpful. No long waits - we went on Halloween at 7:30 pm - elevator so only had about 7 steps - you can be inside or out and the views were amazing
The experience was fantastic the tour guide was very good only problem not easy to find the guide on the street otherwise well worth the experience
Be wary of the price, this experience costs €110 per person, tickets up the Eiffel Tower are approx €38. There is a huge mark up here. I’ve been told it as it’s a guided tour and skip queues. We skipped one queue. My advice is shop around
Your guide only takes you to the second level then you are on your own. It seemed like a waste of money. You can buy your own tickets either online or at the ticket counter. The guide was a waste of money. The Eiffel Tower itself is a wonderful experience, but be ready for lines.

I had expensive tickets to the top as my brother has a cane. We left our Airbnb a little over an hour prior to event and sat in traffic. When we arrived I called and we had been cancelled and no refund because we were late. There was no communication with us except to be there 15 minutes early. We were very disappointed.
Book elsewhere, cheaper to buy tickets from the Eiffel Tower. The tower was closed and I was never notified the tour was cancelled. I had to call and find out on my own after walking 2 miles to get there. Terrible service. Will never use them again. I had to request a refund instead of automatically being refunded and I still have not heard back from them regarding it.
The Eiffel Tower was everything and more! Too bad, it was a cold, rainy and windy afternoon so we didn't go up to the summit. We didn't even stay with our tour guide because we were too cold. It was unfortunate to see the fire from the riots. But overall, it was a good tour.

By being part of this group, you get to bypass the main public lines to get into the Tower complex and into the ground-level elevators. The guide got us as far as the second observation platform, and pointed out interesting things on the Paris skyline. They were not able to accompany us to the summit (top observation deck) of the tower, but pointed out how we get up there.
Our guide Emily was so knowledgeable and led us quickly to where we needed to be. Once in the tower we had ample time to learn history, see the city sites that she pointed out, and time to explore on our own.
Your staff may not show up to exchange QR code for tickets! Waited for over an hour with no contact. Very unprofessional!
Getting up is relatively easy but getting back down to the ground was a real pain. Long wait for elevators and the first couple were full when they arrived.

Easy meeting place. Guide escorted us through security, ticketing, and took us to the elevators reassured us they were safe even though they are old and gave us a tour of Paris below.
We liked this tour. The instructions were very specific and clear. The guide made us at the appointed time. He handled the check-in process in a timely manner, and everybody was clear about what we were going to do. He gave us a little bit of history on the tower and engaged us in a friendly way. His manner was professional, and he presented himself with confidence. From where we met as a group, we walked over to the Eiffel Tower and went through security. We were able to take pictures the whole time then we took the elevators to the first stop and waited for the elevators to take us to the summit. It was a very nice day outside with clear weather. Spectacular views in 360°. Lots of history and we had a good time. We are glad we took this tour through Viator.
Take this tour!! Sure you can pay less but what you get…….is less!!! Our guide, Carolina was fantastic. When we started there was close to 20 of us and she kept a close eye on each one to make sure we stayed together in a crowded place. As we progressed and different people decided to go their own way, she focused on those of us that remained, answered every question and made sure that we understood everything we needed to know about all the important monuments in Paris. Great job Carolina!!

We purchased our Eiffel Tower tickets through Viator a few days in advance and were extremely disappointed with the experience.
We paid nearly THREE TIMES the actual ticket price, only to have a tour operator simply hand us our admission tickets. There was no guide, no tour, and absolutely nothing extra included. The actual price was printed right on the tickets, so we could see exactly how much we had been overcharged.
What is really frustrating is that tourists are left with very few options when tickets sell out on the official website. It certainly feels like these tour operators are buying up tickets and then reselling them to tourists at ridiculous prices.
I have no problem paying extra for a legitimate service, but charging three times the price just to hand someone a ticket is outrageous!
My advice is to avoid these third-party operators if at all possible and purchase directly from the Eiffel Tower website.
The Eiffel Tower itself was wonderful, but it’s a shame that visitors to such an incredible attraction are being taken advantage of this way.

Yes, the instructions said don’t be late. W failed to take into account the increased traffic due to road closures and increased police presence. Additionally, no attempts at communication were responded to.
I am glad I booked this, as going to the tower on your own would involve a lot of waiting in lines. The observation deck was very crowded so having a guide with the audio was really helpful
While the view from the top of the Eiffel tower at night is amazing, our guide, Ashimi, was terrible. I’ve gone on many excursions across Europe using Get Your Guide, Viking and Uniworld guides. They have all been wonderful, interesting and knowledgeable. This was my first time using Viator and probably my last because Ashimi was so awful. The only thing she did was help us navigate to the top and pointed out a few of the landmarks, which of course were ones anyone would already know about. There were no stories, no historical details, nothing. She appeared distracted during the entire tour, didn’t really talk to us except to ask about jewelry we were wearing, though she did talk a lot to some young men who weren’t even on our tour. There were only 4 of us in the group so I imagined before we got started that it would be a great tour with lots of interesting information about Paris. I was wrong. Our ticket clearly stated that we would begin and end at the same spot, which was down the street from the Eiffel tower. Instead, Ashimi left us at the top. She just said, “This is where I leave you.” She was gone before I could get my ticket out that showed she was supposed to take us back to our starting point. We navigated ourselves back down, then had to figure out where to go to get an Uber (none of us speak French). Don’t waste your money using Viator, spend a little more and get a good guide (From my experience, Get Your Guide is amazing). We should not have had to pay a dime over the entrance price for the service we received.
Great guide although a challenge to find her by the directions. It’s in front of a souvenir shop! You can stay with the group or choose to go on your own. Easy to take the lift at the top! Fun experience!
The Eiffel Tower is amazing. The guide, Ashimi was terrible. She didn’t stay with us. Gave us very little info and left us at the top with no idea how to get back to our starting point. She was more helpful to two young men than to our party! I would never book again with viator bc of Ashimi!
I’m sure it was a one time thing, but our guide sent us ahead of her to take care of another clients issue. We were told we’d have to pay 150 euros if we didn’t turn in our listening device. A large group of us waited over 90 minutes on the second floor with our listening devices turned on. We never saw her again. A few did see her but apparently she didn’t stay in one place while several of us continued to search for her. All we got was being told it took a little over 2 years to build and walked through security. Ruined our whole experience because we were all worried about being charged for the devices. I reached out to Viator who responded that our guide said to wait. If the others review on here and I hope they do, they will see we were not told to wait, but to go ahead. We kept our audio on and never heard her reach out. Highly disappointed. Most likely a one time problem, but I was way overcharged for a tour considering we never got the tour. We told viator there were 5 devices left at the Eiffel Tower security. They told me the next day to drop it off at their office at the Louvre. Impossible to do after the fact.
