This tour was amazing. We had a private tour at night. The boat was well equipped with blankets (there was a little chill in the air) and with spirits/homemade snacks. Robert, our captain, was extremely entertaining. He was funny and told us a lot of FUN anecdotes. He also took some amazing photos along the way. HIGHLY recommend this tour/boat

We chose the shared cruise and was paired with 2 other couples. It is a small family business - the father Arthur does the bookings and the son (I've forgotten his name sorry!) does the actual tour, which they have been doing for 4-5 years. The process of booking and meeting up was easy. The boat cruise was gentle and the son was very very chatty and sociable - even though it wasn't a "tour" he still gave plenty of info about the sites and was very funny. He also took photos for us which turned out really nice (he is not a photographer but offered) and provided snacks as a surprise (although this is not usually included so don't expect it). The other couples were fun to chat with on the boat as well. I recommend this for anyone who doesn't want to fork out ridiculous amounts of money but also don't want to be crammed into a 50-person boat ride. It will make a great memory.

If you like an intimate, fun, relaxed experience I highly recommend this Seine River Cruise. Our boat captain, Rado, was amazing! He made the experience more than we expected. He is very knowledgable and shared some interesting facts about Paris with us as we cruised down the river.

Artur was the best boat Captain! We had our 8 and 10 yr old with us. He was so engaging and knowledgeable, he even gave them stuffed animals to play with. He took fabulous pictures of us with all the landmarks.

This was our first time to Paris - and we wanted to see a lot in our 48 hours. With this in mind, this tour was excellent!! I want to first thank Artur for texting me right after I booked this trip. I knew right away that he took his small business seriously and was very customer service friendly. We got to the cruise 30 minutes early which worked out perfectly. We didn’t feel rushed and he checked us in. We had his daughter as our cruise operator - who was fantastic! I’m telling you this family is incredible and really kind, friendly, and supportive throughout the tour. We saw all the sights, drank champagne and had our cruise operator take over 30 pictures of us. She asked if she could - how amazing is that. I feel certain that I would recommend this cruise to anyone new or old to Paris. Seeing and hearing the city talked about from a local is such a great and passionate experience. A+ experience! We loved it!!

Unfortunately disappointing experience

We were really looking forward to our river cruise as part of our trip to Paris and were ultimately pretty disappointed with the experience we had at this price point. To get it out of the way, we got unexpected rain during the cruise and that definitely impacted our experience, but it is not the reason for the negative review, as we know the tour operator has no control over weather. We had three primary frustrations with our tour experience. First and most overwhelmingly, we were looking forward to using the tour as a way to learn more about Paris and the landmarks we would be passing while on the boat. While our guide was friendly and shared some information with our group, he did not have material prepared to share the history about most things we passed. Most of the things he did say and teach us relied on us asking questions and prompting him for information. Second, despite our guide starting the tour by highlighting that he would take photos for us at multiple spots throughout the course of the cruise, we finished with photos from only one location while the other groups in our tour all got photos at 3 or more locations. Our guide did say he planned to take photos of us passing by the same sights on the return trip, but after we got stuck in the pouring rain, that was no longer an appealing option. We were frustrated because the other couples repeatedly got cycled in front of us and ended up with lots of good photos before the weather rolled in, and our patience ultimately left us without the photos we were hoping for. Lastly, while we completely understand that the operator cannot control or predict the weather, the lack of preparation for and response to the rain storm that popped up was disappointing. Our guide remarked that at this time of year it is very common for rain to pop up unexpectedly, but the tour company had no towels, blankets, ponchos, etc. for us to use. Furthermore, there was a shade/roof at the front of the boat, and when we asked if we could open it he said it was not possible, so we were left without coverage. Finally, after we were completely soaked and finished the tour, our guide made a lighthearted comment that we should come back later in the summer when the weather would be better, which despite his intent was incredibly frustrating given how much it cost to get to Paris and do this tour. We really struggled with writing this negative review because we know how hard this business is and don’t want to unfairly impact their small business endeavors, but ultimately felt that other travelers should hear about our experience so they can make an informed decision. While the service was friendly and the boat was lovely, we simply did not feel our experience was worth the comparatively expensive price we paid to be on a semiprivate tour.

Dear Megan P... . You paid for a bottle of water and a skipper on the cheapest boat on the Seine offering private ans semi private cruises ( dependent your choice). Finally You got not the cheapest, but a luxurious boat, it my decision. Only bottle water and driver it included in the shared cruise. You can check it on the attractions website. Not tourist guide, not champagne and cookies and other, not photograph. You didn't pay for a private tour guide, you didn't pay for a private photographer, you didn't pay for the champagne you drank, the cookies you ate and the rest of the delicacies. If my son takes at least one photo of you under these conditions, you will receive another gift from us. If he told you even a little about Paris (and he told you about many places, which is confirmed by the reviews of other people you sailed with), then you received another gift from our family 🙂 No roof protects against rain and therefore there was no point in installing it. Before the cruise, there was no indication that it would rain. It is impossible to unfold the roof during the cruise. We checked the weather before the cruise and there was no rain forecast. Each client should dress appropriately for the weather if the trip is outdoors. We had blankets, you just had to ask. Our whole family in this family business gives more than you paid for and yet not enough.... Others on the trip got more gifts than you ( moore photos) , so you will be offended. This is just pathetic. Next time, please buy not two tickets, but four. Take one extra for the photographer and pay him €200 for the services. Take another for a tourist guide and also pay him 200€ for his services. Pay me 100€ for champagne and an original meal prepared by my wife, and finally appreciate that you got a new luxury boat for 120€+ and add a nice tip... If you do all this, you will prove that you are OK, honest and then I will be very open to any criticism. You wrote: "We really struggled with writing this negative review" and you copied this negative review and put it wherever you could 🙂 and then out of shame you blocked me on WhatsApp and text messages so that I couldn't reply to you 😃 I think that other travelers will read hundreds of other positive reviews and only think negatively about you. May the shame of this review stay with you. One last thing. Viator/Tripadvisor allowed two identical negatives to be posted against their own rules and despite many complaints they still haven't removed the duplicate one. This was more than we expected and Capitan Rado was worth every penny! Because of the Chinese president visiting Paris, there was a lot of traffic which made us 10 minutes late for the tour but Capitan Rado waited for us very kindly. He gave us a passionate and fun tour of the Seine, complete with beer, wine, water, champagne and some sweet treats that his sister baked. The boat was brand new and beautiful. It is an amazing way to see Paris and I highly recommend.

Private boat-tour on the river of Seine was an extraordinary experience. Artur was very hospitable and we enjoyed our trip on the river very much. He is also a great photographer although that is not his selling point. Make sure to be there on time. Paris-traffic is very busy.

Only reason we did not give 5 stars is b/c we were a little “turned off” by his political & religious opinions that he shared without prompting (NOT that we disagreed but felt it was not the appropriate time & place). Hello. I see you gave me a negative just because I don't like racists, homophobes and inequality for women. That's nice.... You paid the cheapest price for the cheapest cruise that exists on the Seine (You didn't buy a private cruise, just two tickets for a shared cruise.). In this one you officially had a bottle of water and a transport. I didn't even need to talk to you. Then you got beautiful pictures worth more than €200 as a gift, a story about Paris also worth €200 as a gift. All for free. Plus my bottle of water was definitely great and a lot of humor and you gave me a negative for that. You are really honorable 🙂 I give you 10/10 for being human.... Maybe read the opinions of others and you'll find out that I'm a very big fan of the US and the only thing I'm not a fan of in the US is the patriarchy which, however, still exists here and there (not only in the US, in Europe too). I am for equality, which unfortunately sometimes does not exist everywhere. It makes me sad to see women who objectify themselves. I have two daughters, young and beautiful girls, and I hope they see the world differently than you do. Regards

A wonderful experience and a truly extraordinary way of really taking in Paris. I will never forget it! Artur combined information with a lot of humor - and with his informal ways he also charmed our teenagers and they loved the trip! And we were really impressed with the serving and it higthened the experience even furter🤩 We have been takling about the trip many times afterwards and I reckon we will also continue to do so. And it’s almost so we want to do it again when we come back, then in the evening. So we really loved it👍👍

Magical Sail on the Seine

This tour was so great. I'm so glad we did it. Arthur was a wonderful host. He shared good information about the landmarks that we passed, and he took lovely photos. Although we expected it to be cold on the river, and so we dressed very warmly, it was still colder than we were expecting, so be sure to dress WARM. Arthur had a pitcher of hot tea, as well as cookies and a selection of cold drinks available for us, as well. The hot tea was excellent and helped warm us up. We are a group of five, and wanted a tour from the river. This private tour was the right choice for us, instead of crowding on to a mega-boat with dozens or hundreds of others. A great tour, a different perspective on the landmarks that you are used to seeing from ground level, and a very nice host. I strongly recommend this tour.
