Our guide was awesome BUT, this was not an “After Hours” tour. Our tour started at 3:30 and the museum closed around 5:30. We were there with 50,000 other people trying see the Mona Lisa and other works of art.

We’re sorry to hear that the tour title led to some confusion. The experience was previously labeled as “After-Hours,” which we now understand could have been misleading. That name has since been updated to more accurately reflect the timing of the tour. To clarify, the tour was never intended to take place after the museum’s official closing time — particularly in your case, as your booking was for 3:30 PM, well within regular operating hours. The Louvre offers extended evening hours only on Wednesdays and Fridays, when it remains open until 9 PM, and our evening tours are scheduled accordingly on those days. That said, we still believe this late afternoon slot provides a more relaxed visit compared to the busy morning hours — often with fewer crowds and a calmer atmosphere overall.
