    Shame about the waiting time

    Chris_W, Jun 2026
Although I expected more, the displays were enjoyable, especially Monet’s lesser known water lily paintings. Biggest gripe, though, was the wait - we had flexible time tickets, so some waiting can be expected, but the tickets were also flagged as priority access. However, we didn’t experience ‘priority’ in any way.

Buy your tickets direct from Museum these tickets put you in a long line and cost more

    Joy_W, Jun 2026
We purchased flexible priority tickets. The museum told us that was the same as buying tickets from them over the counter and we were sent to a standard line that would take 2 hours to get in, we left. We came back at 5pm and crowds were gone and we quickly looked. Whole thing a waste of time

    Response from Host, Jun 2026

We are sorry to hear about your experience. Please note that the ticket purchased provides entry to the museum, but security procedures and queue management are handled directly by the venue and may vary depending on visitor volume on the day of your visit. We appreciate your feedback and regret that your visit did not meet your expectations.

Priority is not accurate for ticket

    Steven_O, Jun 2026
Great ticket availability to a sold out event but Priority is a misnomer as the event stated there is no priority access granted!

    Response from Host, Jun 2026

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad we could secure tickets for your visit. To clarify, these are flexible-entry tickets, allowing you to visit at any time during opening hours on your selected date. While admission is guaranteed, the museum does not provide a separate priority entrance for these tickets.

The tickets were no sent! There’s no priority entrance! 1 hour line lost!!

    JuanCarlos_L, Jun 2026
The Viator confirmation arrived, we received a voucher for the 6 tickets bought, we even got the audio guide instructions but the tickets never arrived! We waited at the Very long line ( Not true it is a priority entrance. It is the regular entrance with a one hour cue… the tickets were sent after 5 pm that was the last possible time to enter the museum! Worst experience! We thought the voucher was the entrance! And after waiting for so long they returned us!

    Response from Host, Jun 2026

We are sorry to hear about your experience. As stated on the museum's official website, even with priority access, waiting times may occur due to security checks and visitor volume. We had already sent the tickets to you, and when you contacted us again, we resent them immediately. Additionally, if you have not yet visited the museum, the tickets remain valid for one year and can still be used for entry. We apologize for any confusion and inconvenience caused.

    Fraudulent marketing

    Frederick_H, May 2026
I bought 2 "priority" access tickets for the Orangerie Museum in Paris for May 25. "Priority access" turned out to be by far the longest line, 90 minutes by the guard's estimate, and the temperature was 35 degrees Celsius. My wife is disabled, and this was not doable by any means. If you are not able to refund the purchase price to my credit card within 24 hours, I will report the fraud to my credit card company and the French Ministry of Culture. Thank you.

    Response from Host, May 2026

We are very sorry to hear about your experience. Please note that entrance and queue management are handled directly by the museum, and due to high crowd levels and security checks, delays can still occur even with priority access tickets. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused, especially considering the weather conditions and your wife’s condition.

Chose a different way to get tickets to the museum

    Christina_M, May 2026
We didn’t get our actual tickets (only the voucher) until I contacted help support right before our scheduled time. Then when we looked at our tickets they said they were for an untimed entry instead of the 10:00 AM time slot that it told us in booking and stated on the booking in Viatour. Therefore we had to wait in the line for open tickets for two and a half hours in the rain to get inside. Also the audio guide didn’t work well at all. It kept saying it needed cell service and most of the museum didn’t have good service.

    Response from Host, May 2026

We are very sorry to hear about your experience and the inconvenience caused. Please note that the tickets are general entry tickets with flexible timings, as mentioned in our product description. We also apologize for the delay in sharing the tickets and for the issues with the audio guide.

    Invalid tickets

    Josefine_L, May 2026
That Viator sends old tickets that have been used and used before the day you have booked the tickets for. Tickets were purchased in the evening of the 26th. May. And they were bought for use on the 27th. May. Tickets were valid on the 25th. May. And we were only lucky to get in because the museum staff helped us and let us get in with invalid tickets.

Hi, We are sorry to hear about your experience. Our tickets are valid for one year. As per your message on the day of the visit regarding the issue with the tickets, we immediately shared newly generated tickets with you again to ensure you could access the museum without further inconvenience. We are glad that you were ultimately able to enter the museum, and we apologize again for the confusion caused.

Extremely negative, extremely negative, bordering on a scam.

    Caroline_N, May 2026
The site promises a flexible system, where one can come whenever they want with easy and convenient access thanks to the tickets without time slots. In reality, it is quite the opposite: no priority, over 1.5 hours of waiting outside, and no guarantee of being able to enter if the crowd is too large. It should be clearly stated before purchase that a ticket without a time slot ultimately offers almost no advantage compared to someone who comes without a reservation. This essential information is not highlighted, even though the tickets are non-refundable, which is very problematic and contrary to an honest and transparent approach towards consumers. The ability to cancel up to 24 hours in advance is useless since the problem only becomes apparent once on-site, after the travel and wait. At a minimum, a refund or credit should be offered to those who were unable to enter.
