Hugo was a fabulous guide - he told us the history of Montmartre that was really interesting to learn about as well as being very enthusiastic about his French culture. Of course the food tasting was superb. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this tour.

Wonderful way to explore Montmartre while eating delicious food!

StacyC, Oct 2025
We had Elliot as our guide and he was wonderful - highly engaging, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. I have been to Paris several times but never visited Montmartre and I'm so glad I did this tour. All of the treats we had were delicious. The walking itself was leisurely and not intensive at all, for those who might be worried about the pace/their level of fitness. We lucked out with some great weather as well, which made it all the more enjoyable. From a booking/logistics perspective, the tour company reached out via Whatsapp to let me know they needed to make a slight change to the tour due to some logistical challenges (the tour I initially booked was the crepes/macaron afternoon tasting tour). They offered two alternatives so I opted for this one vs. the Saint Germain chocolate tour. All's this to say is that the tour company was communicative, timely, and responsive when conflicts arose.

Fun afternoon with kids

Arthur did a great job with the tour and explaining the treats to my kids. We were running a few minutes late and he was very nice about it. We were doing our tour on a very crowded day, but Arthur took us on quieter, beautiful streets in Montmartre and had great explanations. We all loved the treats included. My only advice would be that possibly on very warm days the hot chocolate could be left out or substituted for ice cream or gelato. Highly recommend this tour and Arthur..

Best treats ever

This experience really made our Paris trip so delightful. Catherine's history lessons and Amelie/Midnight in Paris scene knowledge, the walk itself up to Sacre Coeur, and the delicious treats - from crepes to madeleine cookies to chocolates - were such a treat! Thank you, thank you.

I loved the history, kids loved the treats

Jessica_D, Dec 2024
Great way to experience and learn the history of Montmartre while keeping my kids happy. Catherine was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable about the history of the area as well as all the sweets we were eating. Recommend it, especially to families with kids who might need a bit of motivation for a historical walking tour!

An Afternoon of Delight!

Great tour through a lively neighborhood

Amy_J, Aug 2024
What an amazing treat. We walked all the way to the sacre coure by the end of the trip. But we had lots of treats along the way. Our guide was Catherine and she was amazing. Lots of history about Paris and montemart while sampling sweet treats along the way. What’s not to like.

Delicious Afternoon

Delicious treats! Our guide, Arthur, was very personable, knowledgeable & fun to be with. Was great way to spend a few hours.

Arthur made Montmartre...

Nancy_F, Jun 2024
Arthur made Montmartre itself fascinating and took us to some of the most delicious sweet treats we’ve ever experienced. He made the afternoon fun, informative and a super experience as he was knowledgeable about the history as well as the sweets and his enjoyment of the area was obvious. We lived it!

Sweet treats and great views

Christina_N, May 2024
Great tour, easy to recommend! Our guide Catherine was knowledgeable and friendly, she was engaging and always ready to answer questions and chat about the points of interest. The selection of sweet treats was excellent, we had madelines, crepes, croissants, macarons, meringues, chocolate and chouquettes (a special extra we requested). Plenty of walking up to Sacrè-Couer to balance out the calories too! Great views and lovely architecture.

sweet, unique fun

Brianna_W, May 2024
We had such a wonderful time on the tour! Our guide, who was local to the neighborhood, shared interesting history specific to the area and about the delicious pastries we ate along the way. I would recommend this for those who are looking for a unique food tour and to learn about a famous area beyond the typical tourist spots.

Terrific way to spend an afternoon getting to know Paris, enjoy the fresh air and walking exercise.

Our guide Fabian was a delight with gastro-history and knowledge of the shop keepers. Each tasting unique and simply amazing. I would definitely do it again when in Paris. Wonderful experience!!!

Great Experience!!

Gerard_A, Dec 2023
Fabian our guide was excellent. He was full of information not only about food but also the area we toured. He answered all questions we had. He was calm and relaxed and also made us feel that way. You can tell he has passion for his job as a tour guide.

Fabulous and delicious

Absolutely fabulous tour with delicious treats. We throughly enjoyed our experience and Pauline was a wonderful tour guide.

A great way to see and taste Montemarte

Paul_F, Oct 2023
We had a lovely walk with Fabian. He was so insightful and we had fun with all the tastings. Even though it was rainy, we still fully enjoyed our time with Fabian and the new friends we met on this tour.

If you are a visitor who doesn’t like feeling like a tourist this is the tour for you! 10⭐️

Krista_P, Oct 2023
Such a fun tour, even if you don’t have a sweet tooth. (That being said everything was delicious and WAY more than we could eat - still enjoying our takeaways two days later 🧁🥞🥐) Arthur was a phenomenal guide who brought fun and facts. Avoiding the crowds of tourists - we were able to really enjoy the village that is Montmatre. I have visited before and been subjected to the usual climb up the stairs and then over to artists square chaos and tourist trap. By stopping at six little shops along the way you not only get a real taste (sorry for the pun) of the village, but you get to see and learn more about the people who snapped it in the past, and those who are preserving it for the future.

Great tour and wonderful guide

jeannie_g, Oct 2023
Dorine our tour guide was a pleasure and so knowledgeable and showed us all the highlights and great treats of the area! Like I said my sister and I thought Dorine was a lovely girl - what a sweetheart she is!!!

Absolutely amazing and delicious!!!

PaulB, Aug 2023
This tour was phenomenal because of the tour guides knowledge but also her adding a few spots of historical interests. She also answered all of our questions along the way. If you are worried about the climb to Montmartre, there are alternative routes to get there. The shops and food we sampled along the way were incredible to say the least. Watching the crepes being made in front of you and eating them fresh was great. My family absolutely enjoyed them and bought a few for ourselves. I would recommend this tour to everyone.

Wonderful tour and a highlight of our Paris trip!. Dorine was fantastic, informative friendly and easy to listen to. The pastries were some of the best we’ve ever had! Kids 13 and 16 thought it was great. Bring your walking shoes!

Greatest food tour ever

Doreen_B, Jun 2023
Matthias was excellent. We loved every pastry and dessert that we tasted. He had local contexts that made it even more special.

Dessert walk in Monmartre

Susanne_H, Jun 2023
This tour was lovely, as was the guide. However the experience on Viator indicated that we would be on an afternoon tea tour with dessert stops including macarons. There was no tea and no macarons. We stopped at several shops. Tasted chocolate, choucette (think cream puff with no cream), Madeline, crepe and another creamy and delicious puff-like dessert. The food was yummy. I had booked a morning walk in Montmartre to be followed by this tour. Fair warning - the morning hidden tour covered the same spots as the dessert tour, so choose wisely. Overall a good experience.

Fun, interesting, delicious

Anna_R, Jun 2023
Our guide Loik was friendly and knowledgeable. The meeting place was easy to find, and he greeted us with bottles of water for all. Everyone enjoyed learning more about the history of Paris and the Montmartre area, while enjoying delicious treats on the way up the hill. We never could have found all the hidden treasures of treats on our own, so having a guide was much appreciated. We learned a lot and laughed a lot with Loik. If you have trouble walking up hill, this tour may not be for you, but if you can do it, I highly recommend it! The view of Paris from the Sacre Coeur was amazing (fyi, beware of pickpockets)! We would do it again!

What a treat!

Anne_S, Jun 2023
I couldn't have asked for a better way to spend our family's last afternoon in Paris! Our guide, Mathias, was both knowledgeable and entertaining. We learned so much about the history, culture, and hidden gems of Montmartre, which is a delightful and very quirky area, while of course tasting some delicious treats along the way! Also if you are a fan of the movie Amelie, this is a great opportunity to see some of the scenes featured in the film. This tour is stimulating for both your mind and tastebuds--don't miss it!

A STAND OUT Tour in Paris

Chanelle_W, Apr 2023
This tour was by far the most stand out experience in Paris! We had the best guide ever- Stephane- a chef and local who knows everyone in the neighborhood. His fun humor, and impeccable food knowledge made the tour a blast. Despite scheduling this tour during a dizzying busy Easter weekend with streets overflowing with visitors, our small group of 6 easily and comfortably walked and ate our way through Montmartre at a comfortable pace- even pausing to sit down inside away from the hustle and bustle to enjoy the ‘Michelin of all crepes.’ Each venue clearly expecting us- greeting us kindly. None of this would have been as seamless or enjoyable without being guided by the neighborhood VIP- Stephane. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!
