What a wonderful way to experience Paris! Our morning with Evelyne was absolutely perfect - we met our small group at Place de la Concorde, learned the history and significance of the square as well as the Tuilieries Gardens. At the Obselisk, we learned how to draw with pencils with gentle teaching from Evelyne. Moving into the Gardens, we practiced drawing an arch with charcoal and finally...the highlight! Enjoying a shady spot right outside of the Louvre to learn to use watercolor pencils to recreate Monet's famed waterlillies. Evelyne has thought of every detail from portable chairs to alternative locations to account for weather. My 16 year old and I loved this experience!

We had a wonderful afternoon with Evelin, thank you very much. We walked through the gardens Tuileries from Place de la Concorde to the Louvre and stopped at various points. Evelin explained the historical significance to us and then we drew or painted it using various techniques and tasks. It was wonderful, even for my eleven-year-old daughter. She really enjoyed the time. An absolutely recommendable afternoon to see a part of Paris with different eyes.

The art class was lovely and informative and a pure joy! We learned so much history and managed to actually draw some recognizable renditions and came away with a renewed passion to draw and paint! I went straight out and purchased some addition art supplies and plan to hang onto the spark that was lit to continue drawing!

This was a great workshop! Evelyne knew so much about the cultural history of Paris but it wasn't dry or boring, she really made things interesting. It was obvious that she loves her work. Romain (sp?) was very patient with me and very encouraging, even though I don't have much drawing talent. Both instructors were friendly, professional, and patient. I recommend this to anyone!
