Go out of your way to do this tour!

Seriously - if you’re passing through David on your way to Boquete or elsewhere, take the time to stay a few hours and do this tour. Hector and Yuan took us out for a few hours this afternoon and the tranquility and beauty was certainly a highlight of our time in Panama. We saw amazing wildlife including crabs, two different types of monkeys, and incredible birds - even an osprey and duck-billed heron. The coffee break (literally!) was a perfect rest to stretch our legs and enjoy the scenery and shade. To top it all off, Hector sent a file of professional-grade photos and videos throughout the day. A few tips: - the kayaking was not difficult and the waters are calm, so don’t worry about how extreme it will be - we had two single kayaks, would recommend that over a double

I enjoyed sunrise kayaking with Hector. It’s important to know that the time selected is not exact - you need to leave at high tide in order to kayak in the mangroves. The kayak is a relaxed pace and beginner-friendly - more about enjoying the surroundings than getting in a workout! I recommend this tour!
