  • If you wish to spread out your activities over 2-7 days, you will be able to change the time/date of any of the activities on the default itinerary for free if you contact the local operator at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time of this package. Details will be on your voucher after booking.
  • 9/11 Museum if closed most Tuesdays and on September 11th – so on those days, the visit to the Museum would have to be on the next day.
  • This tour operates in all weather conditions, so please dress accordingly
  • Audio tours on Liberty Island and Ellis Island are available in English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Hindi, Korean, Russian and Arabic.
  • Family friendly audio tours designed for children ages 6-10 are also available in the same languages on Liberty Island and Ellis Island.
  • A mandatory airport grade security screening is conducted prior to boarding the Statue ferry. This means no alcohol, weapons or large bags are allowed.
  • Minors (17 or under) must be accompanied by an adult (25+)
  • Due to local regulations, the Statue of Liberty Museum, Ellis Island, and the Ellis Island Immigration Museum may not be open on the date of your visit
  • 2025/6 Due to construction, priority boarding may be temporarily suspended
  • The Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and 9/11 Museum are wheelchair accessible, but the Sightseeing Cruise is not able to accommodate electric wheelchairs.

If you have mobilty limitations think twice abour this tour or give yourself loads of time to get to the start point. I made the mistake of thinking tou collected your ticket and you had 1-7 days to use it, but if you wasn't there at 9am no one was around to help plus they gave you your cruise time which was back up near Times square. The time walking to get to the subways was very slow with the traffic and crossing lights which made not get there until 9.10 and there was no onw around so missed the trip.

Tight schedule-more time needed for me

I was happy to have the experience, but I wish I had more time especially at Ellis Island. The lack of time there most likely was because I added the 9/11 Memorial to the trip. I will go back to Ellis Island on a future trip so I feel like I had the full experience. You need more than 50 minutes for sure. If you want to climb up into the Statue of Liberty you will also need more time and a pass from the National Parks. My only regret was how quick the time went by and the hectic schedule to get on the ferry. I felt like the amount of time they alloted in the itinerary was way shorter than reality.
