Our bike rental experience was deeply disappointing, mainly due to Bogdan Liu's unprofessionalism and lack of customer care. From the start, he was rude, moody, and seemed inexperienced in customer service. He handed us faulty bikes without checking their condition and, despite knowing the issues, didn’t offer any assistance when we had problems mid-ride.
My bike seat was loose, making it difficult to ride, and my son’s bike chain came off, which required him to walk back 3 miles as I struggled to get my daughter back in time. She also didn’t have a functioning bell, so we had to repeatedly alert pedestrians verbally. Bogdan initially threatened an extra charge for returning a minute or two late, even though we had to stop to fix the issues with the bikes. Eventually, he didn’t charge us, but his attitude was far from helpful.
I attempted to call the shop but couldn’t due to mobile restrictions, and it was only after persistent questioning that he even suggested he might be able to send a bike out. Finding Bogdan’s name on the receipt (as he wouldn’t share it) highlighted his overall lack of transparency.
On the bright side, Viator’s UK-based Customer Support was helpful and courteous, arranging a full refund for us. This experience could have been much better if the staff had checked the equipment beforehand and demonstrated basic customer care skills.

I was quite disappointed with this experience. I booked the activity for a group of 11 people, but unfortunately, one participant couldn't join due to a canceled flight to New York. I contacted the provider to request a refund for that person, but never received a response. Upon arrival, since we had already paid for 11 bikes, I asked if we could get two or three baskets (the bikes were quite old and not very comfortable). However, the staff member insisted that we would need to pay for them, which seemed unreasonable given the circumstances. While the activity itself was enjoyable, the customer service left much to be desired.

You can not go with the bike to the principal spots. The traffic befire central park in terribel and the guy in the store was not fridely

The bike rental company were efficient & bikes ready & in good working order. Had a short cycle to the Central Park but on Sunday morning at 10am the park was super busy. If I were to go again I would book a cycle tour or just go by foot. Quite difficult to find your way round & a little stressful with the fitness cyclists, electric scooters, rickshaws & runners!

The bikes became a bit old, but still working. Meanwhile is great to go by bike, not just throw the Central Park.

3hours of riding in and around the central park with my 2 kids was an amazing and fulfilling experience for me to remember for a long time.
I'd definitely recommend to others without hesitation.

Great day out........ once we got to Central Park!!
However, it was very busy and disorganized in the shop whilst sorting out the rental. We rented 7 bikes, most were ok but one bike did have bald tires and another bike had problem changing gears.
We had 3 children with us, aged between 9 - 12, we had to ask for cycle helmets and that took even longer to sort out. Only the children got given cycle helmets.
The leaflet that I picked up at this location states that helmets and baskets are free but we were charged for the baskets. When I queried this, the person in charge stated that they are only free from their other location up the street, this was disappointing as it did not state this in their leaflet.
Overall, it was a great day out and we managed to cycle a fair part of Central Park. I would recommend renting a bike for at least 2 hours minimum as it will take you at least 30 mins from when they sort you out with your bike and then push your bike to Central Park.

Départ depuis un magasin avec empreinte sur la carte de crédit car nous n'avions pas assez de cash ni de carte d'identité avec photo (hors passeport). Retour dans une 2ème boutique car le 1er magasin fermait à 15h. On nous a baladé dans un 3ème magasin pour finalement revenir dans le 2ème (ils n'avaient pas l'habitude de l'empreinte). Pas de casque malgré ma demande. Vélos vieillissants mais en état de fonctionnement.

Noleggio bici vicino a Central Park, veloce ed economico. Noleggiate due bici complete di catena e lucchetto. Si consiglia il noleggio online, veramente economico

Ganz schlechter Service, der Verleih war geschlossen wir mussten 3 Blocks weiter zum nächsten, dort Diskussion weil man Viator nicht kannte…… unfreundliche Bedienung, Räder sind im schlechten Zustand

Si des doutes subsistaient avant d'ouvrir la porte du loueur, ils sont vites oubliés.
D'abord l'accueil : so charming et efficace.
Les vélos : Impeccables pour l'homme et la femme modèles distincts
les accessoires : un antivol inviolable !, un panier si vous le souhaitez, un casque si vous le souhaitez
les plus : une carte de Central Park une très belle carte des pistes cyclables de NYC.
le Park : Départ à 14H30 - Retour 19H00. Le temps qu'il faut pour faire tout le tour du parc en prenant le temps de s'arrêter pour les poses photos et se pauser :-
autres infos : Nous étions les seuls à ce moment là chez le loueur, coooollllll pensez à le rendre à l'heure prévue sinon des frais supplémentaires seront facturés ils vérifient de près vu le nombre de vélos retournés le soir dans le magasin, il s'en loue BEAUCOUP dans la journée.
résultat : de part mon expérience personnelle, je recommande vivement VIATOR pour effectuer la LOCATION.
