Our walking tour of Munich was amazing yesterday. Our tour guide, Joanne, was very enthusiastic, knowledgeable and personable. We learned so much about Munich in such a short time. Joanne even walked with us to help us find the restaurant at which we were going to eat lunch.

If you are looking for a historical tour of Munich that includes walking into and exploring buildings, then this is NOT your tour. Marcin was full of interesting, historical facts, talked non-stop, but didn't allow for any exploring of sights. I love taking photos while on this type of tour, and I really didn't have time to do that. He also doesn't really want to engage with you - never asked us for our names, didn't really care if we had any comments. It felt like he just wanted to get through his script and move on to the next tour. That said, we learned a lot about Munich's history from him.

I've been on many tours in many cities and this was one of the absolute best. This was a great way to spend day 1 in Munich, even if it was 15 Fahrenheit! Dani is fantastic, stories everywhere with expert, well researched opinions on the food and drink, she was always right. We were sad after 3 hours we had to leave her!

What a great way to meet the city! We had a great guide who showed us all the sites. He had great knowledge of the city, knew all the fastest routes and gave us some great restaurant suggestions as we walked. I slept well that night and learned everything I wanted to k so about Munich…..and more.

Patricia met us at our hotel & was just the best tour guide. She was the best of both worlds - and American (so absolutely no barrier in communication), but still absolutely thoroughly knowledgeable. I can't recommend this tour enough - absolutely fantastic!!!! I wish we could have done more in Munich with Patty.

Our guide Verena was delightful. Walking tour of Munich is more of a 2 hour tour rather than 3 hours. For some context we are hikers so little need for resting.
