Sufiyan was an incredible tour guide. Mumbai was our first city, and he made us feel very welcome as we learned a great deal of history + interesting stories about each stop we visited. The slum tour was a highlight. Sufiyan expertly guided us through the narrow streets while explaining the differences found in each area. He introduced us to life within the community and catered to our groups needs (coffee, fruit from the market, lunch). We especially enjoyed the market and train rides all because of Sufiyan. If you can, would highly recommend trying to book with him!

Great tour that introduces you to the city's great sites. Sunil is an excellent guide, very accommodating and knowledgeable, with a great sense of humor. The highlight of this trip was the slums, and he guided us through the many narrow alleys with ease. I recommend sensible clothing for this trip, enclosed shoes, and definitely not a good idea for ladies to wear short shorts. A good trip to take, regardless of how much time you have in Mumbai.

Our guide Abhi made our day in Mumbai one of the best experiences we have ever had in this incredible city. He showed us some hidden gems in Mumbai that we didn't even know existed !! The highlight was a tour of the Dharvi Slums - such an amazing story and Abhi's tour through the slums was informative and eye opening in so many ways. We would highly recommend doing this tour - and make sure you ask for Abhi !!

Great experience. It gives you a different perspective in life. I see humanity and happy kids in there. They don't get to choose where they were born, but I like the positive energy and attitudes they have. Hopefully, one day they will make it out. I'm also glad to hear that slum rebuilding project has started. So there is still hope. Sajid was a great guide. He is knowledgeable and fun to chat with. He explained there are two sects of Jains. Both are devoted. Wasim, our driver, he said his manager is the third kind - extra devoted when there is a problem in life.

Sajid was an outstanding guide on my day tour, and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone visiting Mumbai.
I began in the southern part of the city, walked along Marine Drive, and explored the historic train station before diving into the rich history of Banganga.
The day culminated with a walking tour through a Mumbai slum—an eye-opening, humbling experience that everyone should have if the opportunity arises.
In every way, this tour not only met but exceeded my expectations.

Huge thank you to our tour guide Abhi and driver Prabhakar, what an insightful and educational tour. We began the tour with a visit to Dharavi Slum where Abhi lives, and saw the industrial area, leather making, school and residential area. Then we moved to the city for the more “typical” tourist sites. It was a really great overview of the various parts that make up Mumbai. It was also really lovely learning from a local who lives there.

What a mind-blowing experience! The walking tour through Dharavi was truly something unique. Sajid, a local from the slums, was a fantastic tour guide. His English was excellent and he was just amazing to be with. Vasim, our skilled and friendly driver, made the day unforgettable. His English was not the greatest but his warmth and hospitality were truly appreciated.
We explored so many fascinating places, each with its own story. The traffic was crazy due to Independence Day celebrations, and the rain added an extra layer of chaos but honestly it made the experience even more authentic.
Overall? A solid 10/10. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Mumbai!

This was a fantastic way to explore Mumbai, learn about its rich history and experience its culture. The program was carefully curated by our knowledgeable, professional and thoughtful guide, Hitesh Vaidya, and our most capable driver, Jamal. They arranged our very full day so that each experience seamlessly flowed into the next, all while avoiding crushing crowds of past experiences. Our day began exactly on time, using a spotlessly maintained private vehicle. We explored more than a dozen points of interest, including Dhobi Ghat, the Hanging Gardens, Ghandhi Museum, Victoria Terminus Station, the Azad Maidan, other UNESCO world heritage sites, and ultimately concluded with an in-depth tour of Dharavi, our most meaningful excursion of the day. We are profoundly grateful to have spent the day with Mr. Vaidya and to have learned so much about this fascinating city and its heritage and culture.

Our excursion was a fantastic experience! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, sharing fascinating insights about the area’s history and culture. We truly enjoyed exploring the beautiful sites and learning more about this incredible destination.
One suggestion for future travelers: if you prefer to focus on historical landmarks, I’d recommend letting your guide know in advance. While we appreciated the tour, a significant portion was spent visiting shops. I do enjoy browsing, but I prefer a more relaxed experience without sales pressure. Our guide mentioned we had extra time and chose stops accordingly, which mostly turned out to be stores. That would be our only minor critique.
His English was excellent and he did not take us to any of those commission based stores that truck guys like to take you to. It’s very authentic.

We had an excellent daytrip in Mumbai. Tour guide name Bala and driver Deepak were very qualified. Driver was waiting for us at exact time in front of the hotel and was very friendly. Guide Bala spoke very understandable english and told us so much about slumlife and sights in Mumbai. The day could not be better here.

Very informative tour with Balaji, the tour guide. He did a great job showing the slum and explaining the life of people living there. We stopped at all the places indicated in the programme, but he showed me another place as well, at my request. Excellent occasion to learn about life in the slums.

Visit of slumbs with my guide Bala.
it is important to know as well about the hard life of those people living in the slumbs.
It is a world on its own. Even Indian people living outside of the slumbs never go there.
But by knowing them better, hopefully they will get more attention, help, rights …
It takes courage every day to do what they need to do to survive and make earnings for there families living far away, even then they are kind and open their doors to visitors

We had the most wonderful tour with Jeeta (sp?). He was very knowledgeable about the history of each tour spots we went to. The driver was awesome, how he managed traffic was amazing! We toured Dharavi Slums where he grew up. It was so interesting to see how the community works together. It really changed my perspective. If your interested in a very informative tour then this is the one for you. I would give it a "10" out of ten!
