After a great experience taking a full day tour with Sharon the day prior, I booked this separate tour the following day and specially requested Sharon be my guide. Again, Sharon was a great guide, providing in depth insights, sharing her knowledge of the area, and doing so in a friendly and happy manner. This is a VERY up close...

This is a VERY up close look into life in Dharvi … as in, you are in their places of work, walking in very narrow alleys (think 2 feet wide), and walking throughout all of the slums. This could be uncomfortable for someone who wants more of a view from a distance. Super interesting and our guide was very knowledgeable.

Outstanding and memorable tour

This was an incredible tour. My tour guide, Ruqaiyya, was engaging, personable, and very informative. It was clear that she was proud of Dharavi, where she herself lives. It was so interesting to hear about life in Dharavi from someone who experiences life there on a daily basis. I left the tour inspired by the productivity, positivity, and friendliness of the people living in the Dharavi neighborhood. I highly recommend this to anyone who visits Mumbai.
