she is one of the greatest artist of the 20th century! But unless you have a truly exceptional child, and not all children are exceptional, your kids are going to be bored to death there. If you have small children, please don't bring them here. If your children are acting up or close to any of the artwork exhibits, the cards will tell you to leave. It's not a place for your children to run around and do whatever they want! They can't touch anything, and they need to remain respectful and not yell and scream. By acting as though you gave birth to the second coming of the Lord, the rest of the people there were truly there to examine our art and learn about her have a diminished experience after paying quite a lot of money for the tickets. Bring your children to a waterpark and not to this place! Wait until they are adults and they can go there themselves and enjoy the experience.

We had a very hard time retrieving the tickets for the museum. Also, the Anahuacalli Museum tickets were not included, so we couldn't get in. We brought this up to Viator and received poor customer service.

This is scam.. we purchased the tickets 2 hours prior to the start time. We are in line for the museum and they tell us we don’t have “official tickets, to reach out to the agency we booked with” we contacted them through the phone number provided, no one answered. We contacted Viator directly, after 10 minutes of back and forth they mentioned “they oversold tickets and do not have any tickets available at this time” it was extremely inconvenient as we drove down half an hour away from our hotel to see this museum. They were sold out for the rest of the day…

Tickets were bought four weeks before but Viator cancelled the tickets one week before the museum visit. I rebooked the tickets and again, viator cancelled the tickets. Again I bought tickets. The email process to retrieve the tickets was not only complicated but confusing and also had so many steps to have the tickets to show that we almost missed the event time. Do yourself a favor and find another site

We had a great experience...easy to book and plenty of timely communication. However, the couple we traveled with booked through the same app, and their tickets were cancelled three days before the event...so be aware of the risk.

The museum was by far the most expensive thing I did in CDMX and at the same time it was the smallest and least interesting. If you like seeing how someone lived their live with a little bit of artwork, you'll enjoy it. There are so many other activities in the city that are a fraction of the cost. This museum, if you walked VERY SLOW, took maybe an hour. Compare this to other museums that were $0-5 and took hours to go through. In summary if you really want to know how Frido Kalo lived, go. Otherwise skip. As far as the tour provider...it seems like providers buy up the tickets you have to spend an extra $10-15 instead of being able to buy it directly from the museum itself.

We arrived when it opened up 15 minutes before the doors opened. We were the first in line. Upon entering, we basically had the Museum to ourselves. Like a private tour before others caught up.

I bought two tickets for 10 am house tour. I received email confirmation and voucher that I had to redeem. I texted with Viator team the night before as I had NOT received my tickets. They said I had to wait to hear from tour company. I went at 9:30 for 10 am tour. I never received tickets and then the house of blue museum did NOT open. The word was 11 it would open. I then had to fight to get a refund. It was a stressful waste of my time the night before and an ugly argument to get a refund. It ruined my day as I was so excited. The neighbor area is wonderful and exciting. I sat in the park to regain my composure. It took two more bouts to get refund of 158usd.
It is very important to get your tickets well ahead of time. I’m not sure what’s your best bet.

We bought tickets several weeks before the tour We got a text the day before confirming. We were only sent a ‘voucher,” bit no actual tickets. We went to the museum but could not get in. Tour operators did not respond to texts. Finally got them on phone and they said they couldn’t give us our tickets. DO NOT BUY.

they used a 4th party booking facility in Mexico City - be careful when you book this because i was led to believe that i purchased tickets for the museum in Mexico City - the picture of the museum is misleading on the advertisement - what i signed up for the was a tour of her home in a suburb of Mexico City - best to get tkts to the actual museum on line well in advance - we tried to get tickets last minute and i thought i was being clever using this method as a work-around...IMO they know exactly what they are doing and take advantage of foreign travelers in this way. additionally there were 3 other parties at the museum who also booked thru viator and the 4th party resource who were also having trouble accessing their tickets -one couple said that they claimed that the tickets they purchased were NOT confirmed for the day they wanted - but adjacent days - didnt read the fine print - just be careful. tickets thru this site are misleading and too good to be true.

Do not buy tickets to the blue house via Viator or amigos tour. I bought the tickets for Firda Khalo and Anahuacalli museum and received tickets for the Casa Khalo instead and nothing for the other museum. I have contacted them but no akmowledgement that they sent me wrong tickets and no offer to compensate. Please do not buy from Viator and casa amigos, they are an absolute scam. Due to little availability of tickets they buy and sell at 4x the price and then do not even deliver. Other friends had issues not receiving their tickets and getting the tour cancelled. Total scam

The schedule and proces was easy and on time. I made my reservation 1 month ago and it was canceled 3 days prior to the date. I was able to make a 2nd reservation for the same day for 2 hrs prior but at a much higher price. I hope this is not a finantial gain tactic.

This was the most unprofessional experience I’ve ever dealt with. I booked Casa Azul through Viator a few days in advance before my trip along with a guided tour of Frida and Diego’s studio.
I went to the studio tour (and had an amazing experience) then traveled some time to my scheduled time slot at 12:45 for casa azul. I got there early only to find out that I never actually had tickets because “there was a miscommunication with the tour company” and they had taken my money without notifying me that I wouldn’t be able to visit Casa Azul at all.
There was a lot of back and forth between having to call Amigo tours, Viator and speaking the employees to find out exactly what was happening. A huge chunk of my day was wasted and it threw off a lot of plans I had for the week. I still haven’t received my money back.
If you’re booking with amigo tours I’d advise you to double check everything to make sure that you don’t have the same experience that I did.

I felt totally scammed by Amigo Tours and Viator. They are nothing more than ticket touts!! PLEASE book your Freida Khalo tickets around 1 month in advance and directly from the Freida Khalo website. Don't support ticket touts like these people....otherwise you'll end up paying at least x2 or x3 the entry fee amount. PLEASE also note free entry to Diego Rivera's Museo Anahuacalli is included with EVERY ticket to Freida Khalo's house - so you should not be paying extra for it like I stupidly did. When I contacted Viator under their 'lowest price guarantee scheme' they responded by saying I paid an 'average' price. What a joke - all us tourists have paid well over the odds!!
Freida Khalo's house was amazing by the way. Being taken advantage of was not. I will never use either company again, nor recommend them.
