A great time in comuna 13 Comuna 13 is a vital and exilerating experience while visiting Medellin. How a neighborhood that was a "no go" zone for decades has become the art foodstall destination. It is crowded lively street art is excellent. A must see. Escalators make the climb up managable. Do go with a guide. It is a labyrynth. Our guide Joshua arrived on time and was a wealth of information,explaining the history of the area as well as nuances of the street art representations.. Also info about the city trans system..how to get around..the different "comunas"(neighborhoods) ..highly recommend this tour

The guide was not very good with providing the history of Commune 13. Compared with the same tour we had five years ago, this was a very underwhelming experience and not worth the money that we paid.

This trip was amazing. The art was cool the locals were friendly. The tour guide Camilo is the man lol he knows everyone so you will always feel safe on the tour and he’s like a history book he knows everything. The art is spectacular Camilo will explain the meaning behind each drawing and how they relate to society/culture.
