Horrible guide. He was old and took us on HIS memory lane of growing up in Medellin. He drove us around trying to fill the time. Did not know lunch was included in the trip and we had to tell him. He parked the car on street in Prado to look at street map as he got lost!!
Great small-group tour just for my party. The guide is yours for the day, so you can follow the normal itinerary or customize it according to what you want to see! The main sights in Medellin are impressive - the Botero Plaza, Metropolitan Cathedral and Pueblito Paisa. I would highly recommend booking the MetroCable option as it's the only cable car system in the world that was built for transportation purposes only (not for tourism). Great views of the city and fantastic photo opportunities.
Tour súper recomendable, ya que toca puntos importantes de la ciudad, que de estar viajando solo, serían difíciles de encontrar. La ciudad es muy bonita y vale la pena conocer!

O que nos facilitou muito foi o fato de ser Domingo então Metrocable estava tranquilo, pouco transito e pouca gente na praça Botero. Adorei!
De Metrocable Gondola Ride was door ons al eerder gedaan en dus gingen we voor alleen de City Tour. s' Morgens werden we opgehaald door Mario, een bijzonder aardige gids. Hij heeft ons delen van de stad laten zien waar je normaliter als toerist niet gauw komt. Zo was daar een lokale markt in het stadsdeel Envigado en een stadsdeel zelf, Sabaneta. Dat laatste wordt helaas opgeslokt daar hoogbouw van projectontwikkelaars. Maar ook een wat bekendere toeristen plek als Pueblito Paisa was de moeite waard.
Verder wist hij, de gids, veel te vertellen over de het ontstaan en de achtergronden van de stad.
