Have breakfast high in the sky over Morocco on this private hot air balloon flight. The Royal Air Balloon was beyond all reasonable expectations. Private Range Rover transportation with the most professional And helpful driver. Top notch welcome breakfast and we had additional breakfast in the private balloon basket in the air. This is a once in a lifetime experience to see the sunrise over the Atlas Mountains . Splurge and treat yourself to the royal treatment

Words cannot describe this experience! From the prompt pick up by our driver Saber who escorted us in a private luxury 4wd vehicle to our pilot and server Abdel and Rachid- and our exceptional videographer Zakaria, everything was amazing! The food was so fresh and abundant, amazing coffee and fresh juice and pastries. Thank you for an experience of a lifetime!

Absolute nightmare

It was a total cheat. We booked the Royal package for 1.200 EUR and paid the complete amount three months before the event. The tour operator confirmed the package we booked. The days before the event we contacted them but only received generic message; finally we received a message to be at the pickup point at 6.15 and we should not be late as otherwise we will miss the pickup and the baloon trip. We arrived at 6.00 am and the "private driver" was an old 4x4 and the driver told us we are waiting for two more people. When saying that we booked a private driver, the answer was "I am only the driver". The other people obviousely did not show up, we insisted in leaving as we did not want to miss the sunrise as this was the whole idea. At 6.25 after many phone calls we drove off to find out that the two people where waiting at another pickup point, which the driver/agency mixed up. the driver was angry and did not speak to any of us anymore. Finally, when arriving afer some detour, we were told that we can have a coffee quickly as everybody is waiting for the baloon but have a big breakfast after the baloon ride. This when we got completely upset. We booked a Royal package, meaning a private baloon with a private guide and a breakfast in the baloon, sitting at a table. It was the anniversary gift for my partner. We were put in a big box with 20 people instead, standing (my partner had back pain the whole day) and had a small breakfast afterwards. The whole journey and surprise was completely ruined. And the best last: We got a partial refund as we went on the group baloon ride, while we had no other option, being stranded one hour outside of Marrakech. Afterwards everybody blamed the other. The driver blamed the agency, the agency blamed Viator and Viator just does not care at all. I guess it would be more than normal to get a full refund. That they destroyed our anniversary can anyway not be repaired. So disappointed.

Thanks for your post. Please note at this time, our price for Royal flight for 2 was 1000 Euros and not 1200 Euros. This type of unique flight is guaranteed with private 4x4 and not mixing with other passengers. We do not have ''old 4x4'', all of the are less than 2 years old. You posted on the wrong company.

This was an outstanding experience. The driver (Cant remember his name but Michael portillo went to his house for breakfast when filming here!!) was funny, knowledgeable and on time. When we arrived at the balloon site we were warmly welcomed in a private tent for Moroccan tea. After a short time we were taken to our balloon which definitely didn’t disappoint. Out pilot, Daniel, was fantastic and we felt very safe. Breakfast was exceptional and served by a lovely steward as we floated serenely along. We were in the air an hour and then had a calm landing (although taking sunglasses off is advisable!) Oit driver was waiting at the landing site where more pictures were taken. We also paid for an official photographer who flew with us and was well worth it. We would highly recommend this extra special private balloon ride

This was a truly unique experience. we were able to see some the the best arial views of the landscape surrounding Marrakech. We began our journey at sunrise with a wonderful breakfast in the sky. The food was incredibly fresh and tasty. We had our own balloon with a wonderful, friendly, and accommodating pilot. He was able to position us in the most optimal spots to view the landscape and take photos. Both landing and takeoff were incredibly smooth, both my partner and I had a fear of heights but our guides made us feel extremely safe and comfortable, allowing us to forget about our fear. The drive to the launch site and back was extremely comfortable and we were picked up and dropped off at a very convenient location near our Riad. The price may seem steep, but the experience is 100% worth the cost. Having a private tour allowed to experience the journey in a much more unique way. The other balloons had between 10-15 passengers. Opting for the private flight allows you to truly take in your surroundings unimpeded, while enjoying both privacy and the peacefulness of the sky.
