We had an incredible experience exploring the Medina in Marrakesh with Mohamed. The tour was the perfect way to navigate the maze-like streets, which would have been overwhelming on my own. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the city’s history and culture.

An excursion that should not be missed. We spent four hours walking through passages that tourists never see. Imagine seeing old world trades being performed and wares being sold as a total tribute to the local historical culture. We’ve travelled the world and haven’t seen anything that matches the depth and passion of this tour.

We spent a wonderful morning with Azim on the Hidden Sights of Marrakech tour. Azim was an excellent guide introducing us to Marrakech and sharing his knowledge and love of Marrakech, its people, history, culture and languages. We visited souks we would not have found on our own, a public bakery and tangia oven, and enjoyed a specially brewed Moroccan tea with ten herbs/spices in a pharmacy.

Mohammed did a great job in showing me and my sister around. We both enjoy knowing about countries and cities and the culture and he knew a lot about Marrakech! He was at a good pace so you could take everything in and really feel the culture.
Come prepared to listen and learn. The only recommendation I have from my sister it that Mohammed ask up front if the tour group would like to do shopping and what type of things they are looking for so he can build that into them walking around because its so difficult to find your way around in the square as a novice.
Mohammed did take us to find the things we wanted and helped us negotiate at the end of the tour. We highly recommend if you want to know history and culture to take this tour.

What a great way to explore Marrakesh. Mohammad, provided us with a gentle paced walk around the inner workings of a fascinating part of the city. Ignoring, the frankly brash tourist traps of the souks closest to the main square. He took us deeper into the centre for a fascinating walk around the traditional ‘working’ parts of the medina. Everything from the sparks, and noise of the traditional metal workers souk, to the delicious smells of the bakery, and Tangia’s cooking in the ground ovens.
So much better to experience this with a local guide, who has spent time developing an informative tour of the most interesting parts of this fascinating city. Highly recommend this tour, whether you are new comers to the city, or like us regular visitors. You will broaden your knowledge of both the people and city.

Mohamed was a brilliant guide.
