Imed was a perfect driver. Took us whereeber we wanted to go. We saw the Mosque- BEAUTIFUL!! We went to the seaside and had lunch at Rick’s. Food was actually very good. Great knowledge and i formation to share. We really loved this tour.

Nothing much to see, the weather is not great. And we missed the opening times of the mosque so we were not able to get inside. We thought it’s a group tour with a guide, turns out it’s just a private car with a driver who’s kind but doesn’t have much English. So we were left alone to explore without any knowledge of their landmarks background history. Maybe it would turn out cheaper if we hired a private car ourselves or took the train from Marrakech to Casablanca and take a taxi from there.

Achraf Fiat was an excellent driver on our Casablanca day trip. He was on time, very friendly, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the day. He took us to all the main sights and always gave us enough time at each stop, without rushing us. The drive felt safe and smooth. We took a family trip from Marrakesh to Casablanca, and it turned out to be a refreshing and memorable experience. The journey itself was comfortable and scenic, giving us a nice break from the busy medina vibe of Marrakesh. Casablanca felt more modern and relaxed, which was great when traveling with kids.
Visiting the Hassan II Mosque was the highlight of the trip—absolutely stunning and well organized, with guided tours that were informative and engaging even for children. The Corniche area was perfect for a leisurely walk, enjoying ocean views and open spaces where the kids could move around freely. We also appreciated the clean streets, wide roads, and calmer pace compared to Marrakesh.
A special mention goes to our driver, Ashraf , who made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. He was punctual, professional, and drove very safely, which gave us great peace of mind while traveling as a family. He was friendly, patient with our kids, and happy to stop whenever we needed breaks or photos. His local knowledge and helpful suggestions added real value to the trip.
Overall, Casablanca offered a nice balance of culture, comfort, and seaside relaxation. It made for a great short family getaway from Marrakesh and added a wonderful dimension to our Morocco trip.

We met our driver in one of the restaurants on the Medina, which was about 5 minutes from our hotel. Very convenient indeed. He was on time, and we were met with his wonderful smile
We set off with Lhousseine and he explained how our day was going to go.
He was a very knowledgeable chap and answered any questions we put to him, whether it was about Morocco, Marrakesh or Casablanca.
We discussed the places that we were going to visit during our trip. However, he said that he would take us to wherever we wanted to go, and would accommodate our request.
After we visited the amazing Hassan 11 Mosque, we asked to be taken to Rick's Bar, somwhere that we always wanted to go, having seen the film 'Casablanca'. We appreciate that it wasn't in the film etc. However, it does replicate the ambience and appearance of that time. We had a lovely meal there. If you get the chance just go.
It was very worth while having our own private driver.
He was very courteous, respectful and accommodating with a very good knowledge of English.

We were picked up on time, our driver Ash was courteous and knowledgeable about the culture of the country and places to see. He recommended a few spots for taking pictures and places to have lunch. We were able to see the famous Rick’s cafe and had lunch there! I would recommend this tour to friends and family

We had a wonderful experience on this private day trip from Marrakech to Casablanca. Seeing the Hassan II Mosque up close was truly impressive — such stunning architecture and atmosphere. Our guide Achraf was fantastic throughout the whole day. He was always happy to help, gave us great advice when we needed it, and even took us to a lovely place for lunch near the mosque. We also enjoyed a little visit to the local market, which made the day feel even more authentic. Highly recommend this tour, and especially Achraf, for anyone visiting Morocco!

Would highly recommend going to visit Casablanca. It was a very different city to Marrakech - very built up, clean/immaculate and very green. It had such a lovely vibe about it and a nice change because it was on the coast.
We did the private day tour with Starry Morocco Tours and would use again. Our driver, Achraf was quiet but lovely. He picked us up on time, gave us as much time as we wanted at the attractions so we didn’t feel rushed. As it was a private tour, you could do it in the order you wanted and he was happy to accommodate any requests we had. The van was comfortable and had air conditioning which is always good in this heat. It is a 3 hour journey there and then back obviously so a long day. If you have more time, I’d probably recommend staying overnight as the city has such a nice feel about it, I think it would be good just to wander at your own leisure.
We visited Hassan II mosque, Rick’s cafe for lunch and the cornice. Would recommend all 3. Rick’s Cafe was lovely. It is more than you’d normally pay for lunch in Morocco but still reasonably priced and was well worth it. The cornice (promenade) was so nice for a walk after lunch and you can sit down at the rocks. Also an amazing view of the mosque. We also went to Mohammad V square also known as the square of pigeons but personally we didn’t think there was anything special about it. And if you don’t like pigeons, I wouldn’t go.
Overall, tour was great and would recommend.

The tour was nice and the mosque was beautiful. Our tour guide, Ismail was very friendly and helpful, and patient with us. The only thing I wish I could have changed was that he could improve his English and history skills to improve communication, however he did a great effort which is appreciated.

Lovely day out to see another city in Morocco. We were taken care of from the moment we were picked up to our drop off. Our itinerary featured King Mohammed V Square (additional stop), King Hassan II mosque, passed by Ricks Cafe, old Medina, very nice lunch and the Corniche. Everything went as planned and the driver was very considerate of our well being. It is a two hour drive to/from Casablanca and there is a great rest stop half way between the two places.

Thoroughly enjoyed our day visit to Casablanca. Yes, it’s a long drive (almost 3hrs each way) but this was covered in comfort thanks to the smooth professional skills of our driver Ismail. He was so friendly and courteous and ensured we saw the sights of Casablanca at a pace to suit a not so young couple (even took the time to get us safely across the road at the Corniche). The visit to the mosque was particularly impressive. If you have the time and the inclination I would definitely recommend this trip.

Wow, what a day. After a not-too-early pick up we were whisked through Marrakech and along the motorway to Casablanca. Prior communication was excellent so we knew who we were meeting, where and in what car.
Our driver was very friendly and was able to talk about what we would be seeing as we travelled. The three hour trip is broken by a stopover halfway which was helpful.
There is so much to see in Casablanca that you need to be focussed on what you want to see and for how long. The mosque was a must-see as it is magnificent, and so we took the tour as well which is the only way to see inside (remember to dress appropriately and you will need to remove your shoes). Thence to the souk for an intense walk around the shops where you will make many friends! We wanted to see the old medina and so our driver dropped us near the old city walls and we took a walk around the narrow streets, passing several ancient mosques, and other sights of interest. We did pass by Rick's Cafe which is an option to go in for lunch if you want but it wasn't a priority for us. We were then whisked along the Corniche for lunch by the sea and a walk in the brisk wind before the call to head home was made. However our driver was also able to let us visit the Old Palace and Mohammed V Square which we had asked to see, which was a nice touch especially given the traffic as we were able to see another historic part of Casablanca. By that time we were tired enough and headed back to Marrakech. At all times our driver was ready and waiting for us, and gave us the space and time to do the tour we wanted. We didn't want a group tour as that meant falling into a prescribed routine that by its nature is always a compromise. This tour was structured enough and flexible enough to get around the key sights and give you an experience that can be as busy or as relaxed was you want it to be. Highly recommended!
