Overview

Take the scenic route between the Imperial cities of Marrakech and Fez on this epic 3-day, 2-night desert tour. Amazing 3-Day Erg Chebbi (Merzouga) desert from Marrakech to Fes

When I was planning for a 3-day desert tour in Morocco , I read through a lot of tour reviews for various tour operators. Some tour reviews were really sketchy and you didn’t know if you could trust them. I therefore booked my 3-day with Viator and prayed that I would not be disappointed. We have just concluded our 3-day tour today. Driss was our driver. He was a brilliant safe driver. Haadi was our guide who was very personable, knowledgeable, humorous and helpful. The pick up point from Marrakech was very clear (they sent us a Google map link) and they collect our lodging information in Fes so that they would drop us off at the location near we stay in Fes (not one location for all of us which we appreciated very much). Both Driss and Haadi always have a smile on them and we were very comfortable to joke with them too. The visit to Ait Ben-Haddou, Gorge with a local guide and the camel ride and ATV ride were amazing. One more thing that we really like about this tour - we had the same tour guide and driver for the entire tour! We truly enjoyed our experience with this tour. We highly recommended this tour to anyone who wants to experience a fun, safe and amazing desert tour.

Amazing trip from Marrakech to Fez! Our driver and guide Hisham was great and drove really well. Had plenty of time to visit the attractions. We stayed in a nice little hotel in the rose valley on the first night and the desert was definitely a highlight.

Fantastic service from driver & guide. Driver knew his way very well & we are always on time for every destination. The guide was informative and always let us know where we are going next. It is a trip long. Be prepared for long bus rides but there are many toilet stops on the way. The Sahara desert camp is an experience. Very very cold at night. Had a good time

It was an amazing well organized trip. Especially the 2nd day in Sahara desert was very nice. We paid for Deluxe room with private bathroom and it was very nice and comfortable as well. I definitelly recommend this trip. It is quite long journey but is worth going for that.

This was an amazing tour. Our guide Ali and driver Yusuf was so friendly, helpful and fun. We went to many nice and beautiful places. Everything was well explained and planned. Hightly recommend this tour for those who wants to go to Marrakech and Fes, because this is perfect way to go from one place to another with many attractions in the middle, where you can see mountains, oasis, desert and get to know moroccans lifestyle!

Unforgettable experience but it's hot. Plenty of stops for water/bathroom. AC in vans. Hakim was an amazing driver that took care of all our needs. Camels take strength to get up and get off. Hiking up some of the spots are also extremely tiring especially with the heat.

I can’t recommend enough of this tour, it is a must-do in Marrakech!!! Our tour guide Ali is a truly nice person, I was sick on the second day and he led me to a local hospital, got VIP experience with the doctor and got all medicines and instructions from the doctor prescription. He is so accommodating and knowledgeable that he made this trip so special and fun. He is just reliable and trustworthy that you are able to see the welcoming Moroccan culture through him and his interactions with local people. Besides that, you got to see a lot of local architecture, learning the culture and side stories, riding a camel in Sahara and a lot more. Best part of our Moroccan trip.
