After a long day, we asked Mohammed for a shortened tour which he duly obliged. With excellent English and American accent we had a city tour from a perspective of a civil engineer! Not too many dates and historical facts but fascinating. Excellent. Many thanks.

Sadly, our Guide Oussama was a bit of a disappointment. When he was paying attention to us, he was knowledgeable and interesting, but he spent most of his time on his phone texting and talking to friends and family. We had scheduled a tour of the night market and mosque, but when he realized that we did not plan on purchasing things from the vendors that he took us to (we are assuming that he gets a kickback), he was done with us and ready to get us a Tuk-Tuk and send us on our way. When I reminded him that we were supposed to go the the Mosque as well, he looked at me and said, "oh" and begrudgingly took us. In the past we have always had excellent experiences with Viator guides so I think that this was just a bad guide.

Our guide was fab - he communicated with us knowing that our taxi from the hotel was running late he kept in contact and waited for us. He informed us of where we were, what was going on, about the different cultures and different music we heard. He was very attentive and took us places we would never have found on our own

With a private guide (who had a history degree), I could ask about all of the things that interest me, about family culture, societal expectations, religion. I went to places in the souks and medina I wouldn’t have ventured into on my own. He also knew various artisans who explained their craft.

It was a rainy day so this affected a little bit however the guide was on time and it was nice

Our guide was fantastic… knowledgeable and very friendly!
This tour was our first delve into the Medina and we would highly recommend taking the private tour not just for the knowledge and a chance to see most of what’s happening within but also to break you into the amazing chaos of the place! Think headline act at a major festival and you’re maybe halfway there with the amount of people and sensations!

I was under the impression that we were going to walk to different sites, but what we did was walk around the square. Don't get me wrong, I did like our guide and he showed us which food to eat and where to go to shop, but I do feel like we could have done that on our own and we shouldn't have wasted our money on this tour.

A fantastic tour of the medina, briefly involving the main square, but predominantly to quieter areas within the medina. Omar was very knowledgable about the local and regional history, and we had a chance to sample some local snacks.
A relaxed pace but plenty of sites visited, mostly within quieter areas of the Medina that would have been missed without a local guide. Excellent value for a private tour at night.

Omar was our guide, he met us promptly and took us on a fantastic tour of the medina by night.
This tour isn’t a shopping trip, but an adventure along the winding roads of the walled city, you simply wouldn’t see everything we did without a guide.
We LOVED Omar, he had such a calm and serene energy and was very intuitive. He picked up on what we found interesting and built on that, providing a really tailored tour experience that I really appreciated.
He was accommodating and made sure we saw everything we wanted to and more. It was really perfect.
We would definitely recommend this company and Omar in particular.
