Make sure they have the right information as when we got here we was told we had to pay for boat and guide when it was in our booking so wasn’t the best start. Was lovely after that. A lot of walking is involved up and down stairs.

We booked the day trip from Marrakesh to Ouzoud Waterfalls with high hopes, but unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing.
The van that picked us up was advertised as air-conditioned, but the AC didn’t work for the entire 6-hour round trip. With temperatures reaching 43°C and the van completely full, the ride was extremely uncomfortable and exhausting.
Upon arrival, the local guide seemed disorganized and initially attempted to lead us to a Berber house/shop rather than directly to the waterfalls, which was what we paid for. Only after guests objected did he take us to the main site.
That said, the boat trip at the base of the Ouzoud Waterfalls was the highlight - a brief but beautiful and refreshing experience. Lunch by the waterfalls was decent as well.
The return journey was just as hot and cramped as the ride there, making it a rough end to the day. The natural beauty of the waterfalls is undeniable, but the transportation and guiding services really took away from the experience. Would not recommend this operator.
The waterfalls are amazing and the surroundings are lovely, Tarzan our guide was fun also but poor guy had to translate in 4 languages as he had 2 minibus full of people to look after.
The downside .. it’s meant to take 3 hours each way, it took one hour just to get everyone picked up and swopped about from different buses, (originally assumed to put all English speaking together but no) then stopped for ages at an expensive service station so it was 5 hours before we saw the waterfalls. On return the air con was not working on the bus .. it was horrendous and the 10-15 min stop was 40 mins pointless.. no one was happy. Then once in Marrakesh we sat waiting with no explanation, so I asked the driver, to be told, he was waiting for his boss to give him some money. All in all it was a 12 hour day. I would definitely pay the extra for a taxi instead. I also think it’s sad that they don’t give you much free time to explore all the little stalls/shops when walking to and from the waterfall as these locals rely on tourism trade and we had no time to look and buy. (Avoid minibus reg 39699 26 or please fix the air con)
