Overview

Anyone who doesn’t have sufficient time for a tour at the Sahara Desert will definitely enjoy a trip to the Agafay desert. I booked a tour with this operator and it was a complete disaster. They never showed up for the scheduled pickup, and there was absolutely no communication from their side. I tried messaging, several times but got no response at all. I wasted my time waiting, rearranging my plans, and received no explanation or apology. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing service! I would not recommend this company to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and book with a more reliable operator.

We had a wonderful time on this tour. We had a fun camel ride in the desert, then took the bus to the local women's cooperative where we had breakfast of bread and homemade dips, and we saw how argan oil and other natural cosmetics were made. We then went to the Berber village of our tour guide Abdulaziz, where we had a delicious home cooked tagine and couscous. We then did a 1h hike to the base of some waterfalls at one of the Atlas mountains, where it started snowing when we reached. The whole experience was lovely and Abdulaziz was a terrific guide who was very welcoming and informative. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Marrakech.

A jam packed day at a good pace

What a great day. The hospitality great, plenty of food. The host takes you to his village in the mountains. He's clearly very proud of his roots and so he should be. He isn't forthcoming with information but when you do ask questions, he is very happy to answer and tell you everything you want to know. Maybe we benefited more from this because we were sat by him at the front of the van. A pleasant guy who cares that you experience the local culture. This is great value for money and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

Absolutely fabulous day. Our guide was with us all day. We started with the camel ride in the Agafay desert and then took in some fabulous views before heading into the Atlas Mountains. Our Berber lunch was in the home of our guide and was gorgeous . Then it was an hour hike up to the waterfalls of Imlil. So beautiful 🥰. Can’t recommend this trip enough.

On the date before the trip, I was a bit worried. I did WhatApps tour operator, and I received the confirmation they will pick my family up at 9 AM from Hotel. The tour lasts a whole day as the destination is far from Marrakesh. The camel ride was amazing. Ibrahim is kind and very attentive. He arranged bottled water. His mother has prepared home-cooked lunch for us, perhaps the best tagine we had in our time in Marrakesh.

Simply amazing! They picked us up 30 min later just to let us have breakfast at our hotel, after that a few more people and straight on the road to the rocky desert. After the sightseeing in the desert we went on the camel site run by the family; a huge tent tea and cake for all of us. Followed by the camels and off to imsil were we ate in the guide’s home (i think) next stop a rather mid length walk to the waterfalls and the bus waiting for us on the way back down. And we are on the road back to marrakech with a final stop in the argan oil cooperative, which in our opinion was really not that interesting, anyhow very kind ladies there. Overall excepcional treatment by the guide taking care of all of us, funny and joking guy and the trip was more like a 9 hour ish than the 7 stated in the site TOTALLY RECOMMEND !

Une superbe journée pour l'evjf d'une amie, nous étions 12, tout était parfait, Ibrahim nous a guidé du début jusqu'à la fin, la petite pause thé à la coopérative d'huile d'argan était super et la petite dégustation aussi, le repas chez Ibrahim était excellent, la vue magnifique, nous garderons un très beau souvenir de cette journée et de la gentillesse de notre guide.. Preis- und Leistungsverhältnis ist großartig. Wir waren den ganzen Tag unterwegs und hatten viel Spaß. Tee, Wasser und Mittagessen inklusive (auch während Ramadan). Wir können es nur weiter empfehlen, da es sich wirklich lohnt.

Superbe excursion, je recommande fortement. Nous voyons plein de chose, le tarif est très abordable et vaut plus que ce que l’hôte demande. Bouteille d’eau tout au long de la journée, collation dans la matinée, repas délicieux dans la maison familiale. Bref ne chercher pas une autre excursion avec celle ci vous n’aurez pas de mauvaise surprise. Attention seulement si vous avez des petits pépins physique, l’accès à la cascade peut être compliqué si c’est le cas.
