Amazing trip! Yasmin and Bahja were so nice. Yassin gave very informative information about the places we were going to and Moroccan culture. Beautiful scenery and very kind tour guides. Would recommend for anybody wanting a day trip out of Marrakech

This was by far our best excursion of our trip to Marrakesh. It is a very long mini bus trip, but it is so worth it. Our guide Rachid and driver Ahmed were very good! We were picked up at 07:05 from a nearby pick up point to our Riad (communication for this was excellent). We were the last pick up, so we’re straight on our way from there. We stopped just after an hour for the toilet and coffee. Then not long after we pulled in for the Atlas Mountain View (10/10) point. Then another stop for breakfast and the toilet about 30mins-1hr before arrival at Aït Benhaddou. We had 1hr15 exploring on our own there which was the perfect amount of time. Our guide Rachid dropped us at a perfect point so we didn’t have to pay the locals fee of 20MAD to enter (it is free to enter from the big bridge where we came in). Then we moved off to Ouarzazate for lunch. We all went into the restaurant as guided by Rachid, but this restaurant (Restaurant Lakasbah Etoile) only offered a set 3 course menu for 130 MAD with a few choices but we only wanted a light lunch that wasn’t an option. As this was an extra cost to us, we didn’t feel we wanted to pay this much and waste it, so politely asked Rachid if we could find somewhere else on our own. He was understanding but made it clear that other restaurants hadn’t been checked by them so couldn’t guarantee the quality. We found a spot just down the road to have a lighter lunch (just fries) and met back at the bus on time. The final stop at Atlas studios was an optional visit, which we chose to participate in whilst others went to a coffee shop. We knew the cost would be extra and 80 MAD wasn’t too bad at all. We really enjoyed the studio’s and were given the perfect amount of time to explore it (1hr). The drive back had just one stop, so be aware it’s about 1.5hrs until you reach a toilet stop, but this wasn’t a problem for us. Overall, a really good day! Hope this detail helps others ☺️

My tour guide was Mohamed and he was the best! He knew how to speak three languages and kept everyone engaged. He provided lots of useful information and is very knowledgeable. Be prepared for a long bus ride as it is very far.

Nice helpful guides, and a lot of bang for your bucks on this trip when it comes to the trip itself. Of course the food stops will charge you two to three times the going rate, and the portions are tiny compared to any other restaurants in Morocco, but I think that is par for the course on these trips. You have to buy a ticket to get into the movie studio, but they tell you this in advance and it is only 80 dirhams. If you are booking your trip last minute, be prepared for running around. I booked my ticket the evening before and the website says you can book it right up to an hour before. The departure time says 7:00, nevertheless, I received a message at about 6:25 saying I needed to meet at a place over half a mile away at 6:40. I threw my clothes on and ran all the way there and just made it. I think they would have waited for me if I were later, but it was an adventure. I was glad to be able to book last minute, but it would have been nice had there been a mechanism for notifying me of the pickup time and place sometime between the evening prior and 15 minutes before, especially since the pickup time was earlier than advertised.
All in all, this was an excellent trip with as I said, a lot of bang for your buck. I do highly recommend it. Just book it earlier than I did

Aziz was a very warm tour manager! He took good care of us. The whole trip was guided and unfortunately there was no time to explore Aid Ben Haddou by ourselves and really get to immerse ourselves within the community. Nonetheless, we really loved the places we visited!

With only a few days in Morocco, the day trip to Ouarzazate and Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou was a perfect, stress-free way to see some of its most spectacular sites. I was picked up promptly by our friendly and enthusiastic guide, Fatima, from near my riad, and enjoyed a relaxing bus trip via the Atlas Mountains (and a coffee stop!) to the atmospheric, UNESCO-listed kasbah of Ait-Ben-Haddou, which is rich in history and the filming location of many famous films. We had plenty of time to explore and take photos before heading to Ouarzazate for a lovely and reasonably-priced lunch on a terrace overlooking the town. After lunch, we explored the Atlas Film Studios, then returned back to Marrakech in the early evening. Altogether, it was a great day out, and the perfect opportunity to see some of the amazing sites that this beautiful country has to offer!

Great trip to ait ben haddou and atlas studios
Also few stops to make pictures from the great Atlas
And visited the argan ladies. The guide was nice and friendly but his English wasn’t very well and he looked a bit nervous. But he was taking care good of us .
It’s nice to walk around ait ben haddou but inside u will find a lot of shops . Better take pictures from outside. Atlas studios was a nice experience as well . The way takes 3,5 hours so it’s a long day …

Had the best experience ever, we went on a day tour to Ouarzazate, our driver Imad jamzaoui was so lovely, friendly, knowledgeable and he spoke and understood English very well. There were 7 of us in a very comfortable and air-conditioned van and our group were all really lovely, and understanding of me being a bit slower as i walk with a stick, Imad helped me in and out of the van as well as making sure we were all happy and enjoying our day. We saw how the Berbers lived as well as the Kasbah, Atlas Mountains and film studio.
We had plenty of stops to take in the views, take photos and have a drink.
Lunch was great too on the roof top over looking Ouarzazate.
What more can i say but you will have a great day out and if you get Imad jamzaoui as your driver you will not be disappointed.

We thoroughly enjoyed this excursion. We didn't know which part would be the showcase of the trip and afterwards it's still hard to choose. Hamada and Moha did a great job across a diverse group of travelers, keeping us honest on timing and getting us to each new attraction quickly and efficiently.

Our guide, Hamada, was fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable. The timing of the tour was spot on, and he ensured we covered everything promised while leaving plenty of room for questions. Visiting Ait Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate, and the Atlas Studios were the absolute highlights of the trip!
I’m giving this a full 5 stars. Just a quick word of caution: sometimes groups include speakers of two different languages. However, Hamada handled this seamlessly, providing excellent commentary in both languages without anyone feeling left out. Highly recommended!

This tour is defintely a must do. The main attraction, Ait Ben Hadou, was absolutely amazing. We had the chance to have Aziz as our guide. He was definitely full of joy and he gave us a lot of interesting informations about the country, the people, the places, the religion, the culture, the symbols and much more.
I warmly recommend this tour and most of all I recommend making this tour with Aziz.
I have to mention a negative part. The local guide from Ait Ben Hadou (this is other guide than Aziz) was most of the time in such a hurry and he lost on the way 2 of his tourists which were found at the very end of the Ait Ben Hadou tour.

This was a long day trip but if you’re on a time crunch, it is worthwhile to see these beautiful sights. We had very informative tour guides and our driver was super nice. Keep in mind — you definitely need to bring some cash with you as you will be making some stops and the tour does not include entry fees or lunch. Also, you will be going through the mountains and there are a lot of curves along the way. Otherwise, it was a good trip.

Great trip. Well worth it. Aziz is a good tour guide.
Note it is a long day, and the mountains are cold along the way, so carry warm clothing and comfortable shoes.
Also carry about 300 dirhams per person for coffee breaks x 2, local guide tip, lunch and the entry to Atlas Studios, all are cash only, no card. I didn't expect to spend so much during the day, so just a caution on that.

This trip was amazing. Mohammed was a witty and fun guide who took really great care of my senior parents. They unfortunately couldn't climb up Ait Ben Haddou due to the stairs but him and the driver Ahmed ensured they had a good, comfortable time in town and were great company. They even helped them walk up to see some the great views and took pictures for them while the rest of us climbed up. The drive was one of the most scenic we've ever been on. The driver Ahmed was incredible; the way back there was a bit of a rain storm and quite a few places with fallen rocks while going through the mountains in the dark. He was a very careful driver and safely got us back home. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Marrakech.

The visit to Ait Ben Haddou and Atlas Studios was a great experience and everything was very well organized. Our guide Younes was extremely helpful with everything we needed. The reason I’m giving 3 stars is that if you’re taller than around 5’8, which most of my family is, you will find the tour bus really uncomfortable because the leg room is nonexistent. Since this tour includes 6+ hours of driving, it was an uncomfortable trip for my family. Also a word of caution that if you’re prone to motion sickness, driving through the Atlas Mountains may be a rough experience which it was for me. If these aren’t issues for you, I’d recommend the tour.

It was a great trip , we were able to see the snowy peaks of the Atlas mountains so close to the beautiful squares of Marakesh surrounded with orange blossoms -totally surreal! Then the trip to the spectacular Berber village felt like being in a medieval film setting and after that the actual visit to the Atlas film making-studio was awesome!! Great visit and thank you to the organisers for this amazing cultural experience..

Overall, the trip was well organized and informative, and we are very glad we decided to do it. It is a long day, but as a one-time experience it is absolutely worth it and we would definitely recommend it.
That said, there are a couple of points worth mentioning for future travelers. The space on the bus was very, very tight, which made the long drive less comfortable than expected. In addition, local guides are not included in the tour price and they usually ask for an extra tip or fee on site. This is absolutely fine, but it should be clearly mentioned in the tour description in advance so guests know what to expect.
Despite these minor drawbacks, the experience itself was memorable and gave us valuable insights into the country, its landscapes and its history.

It was an extremely nice day trip. The guide (Rashid) was super friendly and helpful. He spoke vastly interestingly and made jokes along the way, which broke the ice quite fast. The driver (Zakaria) also did his job perfectly, driving us through the mountains and getting us to each stop in one piece. The spots in the package all worked together perfectly, showing us different bits and pieces of nature, culture and history of Morocco.

It's a very long day with about seven hours in the mini bus. However the bus had WiFi and cool and hot air. The landscape was breathtaking at times, and we really enjoyed that part. The driver Bouja and our guide, Sadiq were very welcoming, friendly and informative. They looked after us well. We didn't think the lunch was great (and it was expensive) and it felt very orchestrated but there was nothing and no one stopping us from going to a different restaurant. Overall it was a long but enjoyable day with stunning views.

Very good experience. Atlas Studios was a lot of fun. Very beautiful scenery. Lunch place they bring us to was very good and reasonably priced. The restaurant was ready for us and very fast. Ait Benhaddou was so beautiful. Charaf was a very good driver and guide. He is very kind. I definitely recommend this day trip.

This is a great day out from the hustle and bustle of the city. Visiting a UNESCO site and village with a local guide to explain how the villagers live. The views from the mountains are breathtaking and there are stops along the way for tea and seeing how Argan oil is made. Sadok and Bouja were a brilliant driver and guide team.

The things we saw on this trip were beautiful-the mountains had snow in early December. I was picked up around 6:45 am. Because the driver was a smoker the entire bus smelled like smoke which I didn’t appreciate. Luckily this was just the hotel pickup. Also the seats were entirely too close together. I am only 5’4 and my knees were touching the seat in front of me. It was terribly uncomfortable. Either the company needs to space the rows further apart or use a bigger bus. I didn’t get back to my hotel until about 10 pm. The actual tour driver and guide were great though (Walid and Romani). We had a separate guide just for Ait Ben Haddou who was also good (we just had to tip him). You don’t need to eat lunch with the group. I brought my own food and walked around to check out nearby shops. I recommend paying for the Atlas film studio tour. I think the should just include this in the tour price since is only about $8. There is nothing else to do but sit in a cafe if you don’t want to do that. The studio only accepts cash.
