I should've known this was going to be a not so great experience when I got on the boat and they asked if we wanted to pay 100 EGP to go to banana island. He said there are monkeys and crocodiles. In my head I was thinking wild ones on an island, cool sight seeing? WRONG. It was animal abuse at its finest. Just another tourist trap where animals are trapped in small concrete cages for entertainment. Skip it at all cost.
Next, we were never offered water as mentioned in the tour. We were offered fruits, but the captain literally ate 95% of them... such an odd thing to offer fruits but eat them all. Next we had issues with trying to leave the dock of banana island because not enough wind since it was a sail boat. We were stranded probably for a good 15 minutes until the captain got us further out. We did not enjoy it at all. I wish I booked with a different company or boat.

Captain Sabry’s boat was a lovely experience. We went as a couple and it was private and adventurous. Captain Sabry is doing a good thing and training young men on how to become Felucca captains. They may appear young but they are 17 (Yousef) and 18 (Kareem) and very capable and experienced. I trust them and felt very safe!

The felucca arrived at hotel 10 mins late to start, meant to be 2hrs long trip, and have refreshments and snacks didmt arise,then wind picked up which caused us problems and had to dock for 10 mins at queens island to let wind die down untill we could sail off again.. but going bk down nile to hotel winds agsin picked up and the captain Ali and his young apprentice were struggling and then mask snapped in two so no control.over feluçca had to be rescused by a party boat and towed bk in to winter gardems marinia and had to walk bk to hotel.. started good ended up bad.

We took a sunset Feluca ride. The ride was bery beautiful and must for anyone who comes to Luxor. The only thing is that, the booking had tea, snacks and water. They only provided tea but no water bottle or snacks.

Highlight of our trip to Egypt without a doubt. Exceeded all our expectations and we witnessed the most stunning sunset on the Nile. We had a little stop on an island where we took some gorgeous pictures and were offered Egyptian tea, a lovely little touch to end the ride. Cannot recommend it more!

This was the perfect way to view the sunset on the Nile river. We were accompanied by Yasir (The owners son) and Tuttenkhaman (The Captain). Both were very knowledgeable and friendly! Would definitely recommend!

We had an amazing experience! My husband and I booked this felucca tour during our final days in Egypt and it was absolutely wonderful. After a long week filled with busy activities, this tour was the perfect way to relax on our last day. We were lucky to have some wind, so the felucca sailed beautifully.
Captain Taya and Mohab were incredibly kind, taking many photos of us and always ensuring that everything was perfect. The driver, Mr. Tarek, was also very friendly and punctual. He arrived at our hotel right on time and picked us up without any delay.
Overall, this was such a relaxing and memorable experience. Highly recommended!

All was handled very well. Karim the handler coordinated my pick-up even though my address was a bit unusual. The felucca sailors, Daya and Hamza, were great! Watching them manoevering the boat was something new and different, and I really appreciated their effort. I had good luck choosing 4pm as the sunset was most beautiful upon the Nile.

Everything Was perfect.
The captain was waiting us to our hotel dock on time.
He made sure that we feel perfectly comfortable on the boat. Great person !
Very professional and great service standing. A top to do in Luxor. The sunset was crazy and the sun light reflected on the nile.
One of the best experience to do in Louxor ( sunset time) if you like peaceful atmosphere and awesome landscapes.

Very relaxing private tour. Good communication with Karim the manager and Taya was a great captain. We were towed down the river to a quiet area on the river and sailed back. Nice end to my time in Luxor. Would do again.

This is a must! Such a lovely, peaceful experience. Our guide, Taya, and his apprentice, were great, even agreeing to drop us off at our restaurant dock. Glad for the flexibility.
It can be a bummer if the wind is low, but the unpredictability is part of the fun. So peaceful otherwise!

Captain Musa did a wonderful job. We did a sunset cruise with a group of 5 friends and had a very fun time. He was easy going, friendly and knowledgeable. We felt safe and had a great experience. I would recommend this tour for a quick, beautiful and easygoing cruise on the Nile.

Boat captain arrived very early and we agreed to go 30 minutes earlier than booked. As we boarded, there was no wind so we were served a cup of tea instead of setting sail. We waited in vain for the wind and after about 40 minutes were towed to Banana Island where we walked around for a bit and then sat on the boat waiting for the wind. This never came. In the end it was decided that we would return to the hotel’s dock, using a combination of the boat’s oars and the river current. The captain was pleasant and tried hard in frustrating circumstances.

The trip was well organized. We were picked up on time and were taken to the boat. Captain Ali and his friend took us on our sunset ride. They were courteous and gave us space to take our pictures. They offered Egyptian tea during our ride. We enjoyed the ride and we took some really amazing sunset pictures

While there was a bit of a confusion about pickup times, once we were in the car everything went smoothly. The boat was large and could easily fit more people and the experience was very pleasant. I would recommend going earlier in the evening, as the best views are before sunset rather than after. The guides were pleasant and very chill, and even stopped the boat so we could walk a little in the nile. The sunset from the water was absolutely incredible!

We were greeted by Said on the boat by the Nile side of our hotel. He was very courteous and welcoming. He provided bottled waters for my kids and I and was very friendly in making conversations. He let my son experience navigating the felucca and that was truly amazing. He made tea and let us enjoy the rest of the ride comfortably. We highly recommend this tour!
