Awesome experience. Tour guide Ahmet is super knowledgeable, he and the driver and accommodating and flexible. And in general just super helpful. Will definitely recommend

First of all, the driver was good, he drove efficiently taking the shorter roads. Nowadays, roads are better so it took overall only about 8 hours, instead of 10 as it used to take. The only issue we had is that the tour company confirmed 3 times that our start time would be 7am instead of 6am as is indicated on Viator. But they didn't inform the driver and he showed up at 6am. Such early start was completely unnecessary, but everything went smoothly otherwise.

Our guide Ahmed and the driver Ahmed made this a very nice day trip. The pacing was good and the car was comfortable. The explanation of the sights was satisfactory.

This is the best company with an amazing services from customer services, the driver and the transfer itself. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for which company to choose from. We did the transfer from Hurghada to Luxor with the stop in Dendara. Our driver, Ammar is punctual, safely drive and friendly.

It is a great trip. Temples are beautiful. The driver Ahmed Shaban was both fast and driving safe. Althogether I recommand this one.

The main thing to know is that the 6-7 hour time estimate is not accurate. It took 8 hours and if you've seen a lot of temples, you might want to consider whether it's worth spending a full day driving to see two more. In general the guide was very knowledgeable and driver drove very safely. Guide and driver accommodated our group's needs. The temple in Dendera is quite similar to the one is Esna, but Dendera one has interesting faces on the tops of the columns; in addition, this one has ladders to a couple high up rooms, and an interesting long flight of shallow stairs to the rooftop that other temples in Upper Egypt do not have. The Great Seti I temple in Abydos is interesting for the rays of light coming through the roof. Perhaps more interesting is the Osireion, an ancient temple behind that people think is 4-5 stories deep, but remains mostly under water. However, the stairs down to it were closed and we could only see from above. Oddly our guide knew nothing about it.

The tour to Dendera and Abydos was everything I hoped for and more. I learned things about the sites that I didn't already know from my research, and my guide Peter Ayad was awesome at customizing the tour to my specific interests (the driver was cool, too). Don't skip Abydos. I know it is a long drive, but it is worth it if you give Abydos the time. I'm so glad I did this trip. I have come to learn that these trips are won or lost based on the tour guide who leads them. I wish Peter Ayad could lead them all for me. He was seriously great as a knowledgeable guide who also had a laid-back style. He felt like a friend by the end, and he did his job well also!

The excursion to visit the temples of Abydos and Dendera this January 2025 was extraordinary, with an exceptional driver and breathtaking monuments. It was the first time a tour agency driver arrived ahead of the scheduled time at our hotel.
