Taking a hot air balloon in Luxor to catch the sunrise was simply wow. The sky lit up as countless balloons filled the horizon, creating a breathtaking backdrop. Seeing the ancient sites from above—temples, tombs, and the winding Nile—was magical and unforgettable. The perspective made Egypt’s history feel even grander. It’s an amazing experience, peaceful yet thrilling at the same time. Highly recommended to do it if weather permits. A sunrise like this, with so many balloons drifting together, is a moment that stays in your heart forever.

I didn’t get to ride the balloon because of the weather conditions, it had to be cancelled. However, the communication, transportation and prompted refund were excellent and on time as soon as I requested for the refund.
This was one of the best experiences I had in my entire Egypt trip(after diving in the Red Sea). I would recommend anyone to book through them if you want to book a balloon rides.

The experience was great, but we didn't know if it was happening for real: although the driver picked us up as arranged at 4.30am, we were allowed to fly only ca. 2 hours later. If the weather isn't good, we should be notified in advance and delay a bit the pick up, for example.

Everything was great, only complain I have is that this product is called sunrise balloon ride, but the flight was too late to view sunrise… when asked, they said sunrise view is not guaranteed.

We had a wonderful hot air balloon experience in Luxor. The entire operation was very well organized and ran on time, which we really appreciated.
A special mention to our pilot, Abdo, whose lively and engaging commentary made the ride even more enjoyable. He pointed out key landmarks and kept the atmosphere light and informative throughout.
The views at sunrise were absolutely breathtaking — a truly unforgettable way to see Luxor.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting!

Unfortunately the hot air ballon ride was cancelled on two occasions, so can not comment on the experience. But great communication from the company. Few days before hand WhatsApp sent to me asking for confirmation of trip and requested passport copies Night before trip sent message that due to bad weather trip was postponed to following day or full refund. Rearranged day and then night before confirmed flight is cancelled and full refund has been authorised.

Initially cancelled due too wind, but rebooked for the following day and luckily the weather improved and the flight went ahead. It was an amazing experience, very well organised, and the crew was super professional and accommodating. I took the sunrise ride and I'd recommend it to everyone who is visiting Luxor. You won't regret!

Great experience, skilled team. We got lucky with weather, but prepare for uncertainty is involved... (e.g. we had no beuatiful sunrise due to some thin fog and clouds, but at least our flight was not canceled - might happen if there is a strong wind). Our captain was very skilled and funny - he had full control over the flight so we felt safe.

We had the flight booked at 5 to see the subrise but they told us that it had to be more late because of the bad weather. We missed the sunrise and when we arrived there there were other balloon flying. For the rest, excelent crew and great experience. If you don’t care about the sunrise, it is a perfect option.

This sunrise hot air balloon ride in Luxor was an incredible experience with a strong focus on safety above all else. From start to finish, everything felt well organized and professional. I was picked up right on time and dropped off at the same location, which made the day seamless. During the flight, the pilot pointed out major landmarks which made the experience even more meaningful. Our pilot, Pakar, was very knowledgeable and ensured a smooth, safe flight and landing. A nice bonus is that the team records the experience from the ground and offers the footage for purchase at the end. Highly recommended for a safe and memorable way to see Luxor from above.

Incredible experience, incredible views!
The pilot we had was very experienced and he was also guiding other pilots in the air. Gave us clear instructions on safety during take off and landing.
Everything depends on air and the adventure may get delayed or cancelled, consider that while booking.

Very wonderful thing to experience, however we were kept waiting outside in the cold for over an hour before sunrise, and the balloons didn’t depart until well after sunrise due to weather conditions. It would be better if they had people arrive right before departure time

The hot air balloon experience in Luxor was absolutely unforgettable, offering breathtaking views of the Nile, temples, and desert at sunrise. The ride was smooth, well-organized.
A warm, sheltered waiting area before takeoff would be a welcome improvement, especially during the cold early-morning hours.
Also, make sure you have a warm jacket!

It was a bit confusing at first, because I was picked up in a car and then transferred to another car halfway through but in hindsight, that was all intentional. The balloon takes about 32 people so it’s not an intimate experience but I was put in a section with great gals. We were waiting for liftoff approval for about 90mins outside, and it can be chilly so recommend a sweater. It’s much warmer when the sun comes up and you’re up in the sky. I don’t have all the details but it felt like they decided who was on which balloon based on your hotel. I guess it makes for easy pickup. All to say, I was glad I chose a safe but cheaper package, got the same experience as people that paid more. Highly recommend doing this after you’ve done a tour of Luxor so you know what you’re looking at.

Amazing experience and delivered seamlessly by the entire team. Every part of the morning ran like clockwork -including collection from one of the river cruise ships - and the pilot managed to get us some incredible views of the various temples on Luxor's West Bank. Highly recommend!

Overall great experience. Abdullah and the team were experienced. Felt safe, the ascent and landing were smooth.
There were about 16 people in the basket.
Only criticism was that they spent a lot of time arranging and rearranging the groups. We were picked up from the hotel around 5 and sat around waiting till 6.45am

Early wake up but waiting for long time to fly - well cover yourself in December during waiting is cold. Experienced crew nice fly experience of about 45 minutes. I always felt safe it was my first flight in a balloon. In spite we paid for the upgrade to vip balloon, we were squeezed in six into a corner of the basket, with limited possibility to move and take pictures. So I thought I could have saved the cost of upgrade of 10 USD each.

Excellent experience, good arrangement for pickup, old and creepy car though. Half an hour flight over all the temples offering amazing aerial view during sunrise. Need to have good warm clothes for winter months. Need to have physical fitness to get into and out of the basket.

Very clear communication the day before with confirmation of hotel pick up & timings. The guide, and hotair balloon pilot were really friendly and good fun! Everybody at this company were great.
Absolutely loved doing the sunrise horror balloon…very early to start the day but what an experience. Really beautiful views…got to see valley of the kings, the beautiful greenery and sugar cane fields and Hetshebsuit temple. We saw the sunrise but more on the ground as balloons were being inflated - which was a fab experience too. We did capture part of the sunrise in the air which was wonderful but you do have to wait for the go ahead from air traffic to ensure visibility, winds etc are safe to do so.
A great experience- would definitely recommend!

Our sunrise balloon ride went smoothly, even though the company tried to cancel the day before due to weather. Pickup at 4:30 AM was on time, and we reached the launch site about an hour later.
The biggest downside was how crowded the basket was, about 20 people with almost no room to move. I highly recommend paying extra for a smaller group if you want to truly enjoy the experience and take unforgettable pictures and video's.
The flight itself was beautiful. We caught the sunrise, the weather was perfect, and our pilot was friendly and informative.
They offered photos and videos for purchase, but the quality was poor and the link wasn’t downloadable or easy to share. I wouldn’t recommend buying them; take your own if you can. I messaged them explaining but they didn't seem to understand that people want a video that can be shared on social media.
Overall, despite some inconveniences, the experience was unforgettable and definitely worth the splurge.
