Guide and felucca captain were very personable and made for an enjoyable tour. The visit to Banana Island was interesting but we didn’t enjoy it as much as being on the river. The boat stayed out longer to make sure it included sunset.

Excellent service from start to finish,we had boat to ourselves crew father and his 2 sons we had such a giggle with the lads even let me sail boat down the Nile, nothing was to much for them we asked questions on Egyptian life so knowledgeable even told us about their lifes and struggles we tipped the crew at end and you would have thought I had given them the world highly recommend this trip

So I was under the assumption we would be riding a boat similar to what the ancient egyptians rode. It's just your standard sailboat. That is if there is enough wind for it. We had no wind that day, so we took a motor boat instead. Which at first I was a little disgruntle then I saw stranded feluccas/sailboats being towed by motorboats! The farm was nothing special, but the fruit was pretty delicious as well as the sunset over the Nile was gorgeous.

Très agréable excursion en privé avec notre guide et notre skipper. C'est très reposant de voguer sur le Nil dans le calme comparé aux bateaux à moteur. Les photos avec le soleil couchant font de merveilleux souvenirs ! Les Egyptiens sont ponctuels, accueillants et très gentils. N'hésitez pas à venir ! Le pays en a bien besoin et les conditions sont idéales.
