This was one of the best tours of my life. Our Tour guide was fantastic. He had just the right balance of intellectual information and little jokes thrown in. We learned so many details. The walk was informative. The restaurants and pubs were fantastic. And the ride around town in an electric Model T Ford was fun and regal.

The tour delivered as advertised, but Cambridge itself was overcrowded with tourists. The driver transported us to and from Cambridge in a timely manner (yes, we did leave late because there were 5 no-shows and 1 passenger delayed on the tube). Two local guides met bus upon arrival, and the group split in two for a 1-hour walking tour. Our guide, Tony, had an engaging sense of humor. Afterwards, we had 4 hours to spend touring on our own before returning to the bus, which was about 3 hours too much.

Dear Customer
Thank you for leaving us a positive review. We are glad to hear you enjoyed your tour in spite of the fact that there were many tourists in Cambridge-which is expected especially in summer time. Cambridge is a beautiful place to visit!
We hope you will tour with us again.
Kind regards

This tour started with a delay of 15 minutes because 3 persons did not show. They were at another starting point which was wrong.
Our driver was nice and friendly but did not give the LIVE Commentary promised going or returning.
We therefore lost time with our guide and another 15 minutes when someone required the washroom. This tour was under my expectations.
Response from Host, Apr 2024
Hello Keith
We are sorry to hear the departure was delayed by lost passengers. We do try to contact people and help them get to the pickup points, normally waiting 10 minutes if necessary, but sometimes people don't make it.
The driver doesn't give commentary on the way but you are met by a local Green Badge Cambridge guide who gives the group at 1 1/2 walking tour through Cambridge. We use these local guides as they are allowed to take groups into the colleges but London based guides without the Cambridge Green Badge are not.
We hope you enjoyed the city of Cambridge nonetheless.
Kind Regards

Meeting point at Victoria was not defined clearly, after last minutes change in pickup point change my Anderson Tour from London Bridge, and 1 hour earlier, than originally planed, causing the tour chaotic time for my family. Company phone attendant was rude and uncaring about way findings at Victoria Station pickup point after recommended tube ride. It’s on the West side of a Apollo Music Theater and across the street away without any signage nor prior directions. Telephone attendant at the tour company gave me the address of meeting point, which leads to Victoria Station in front of the tube, not on the west side of Apollo music theater. Driver was not friendly and a bit arrogant.
Response from Host, May 2022
Hi Patrick,
We are sorry to hear that you found the meeting point difficult to find. As pointed out to you already in private messages, we did send you a link to the exact location of the meeting point on Google Maps in advance of the tour and tried to contact you many days before the tour by phone and email. The reason for the change in pick-up point was because of the Ride London cycle race, which results in widespread closures through the city, and is out of our control. Our team tried their best to help you and even waited for you while you were late and tried to find the pick-up point. We are sorry you did not find their assistance satisfactory, and will be talking to all staff to try and improve their communication skills going forward. You did in fact go on the tour though, and your review mentions nothing about the actual day trip, only the difficult in finding the meeting point under very unusual circumstances. Again, we are extremely sorry for any confusion about the meeting point, but tried our best to reach you in advance and were available well in advance for any questions you had regarding the meeting point.

The bus trip was very comfortable and safe. The guide in Cambridge was very helpful, polite, friendly and informative. I just wish there was some more time to enjoy the attractions of the city, like the river tour, which I didn't have time to take.

Thank you for your review!
We are delighted to read you enjoyed the tour and felt safe doing it.
We hope you'll be able to come back to Cambridge to enjoy a river tour another time.
Kind regards,

It was a well-organized trip to Cambridge, but there was confusion about where to be picked up by the coach. In the E-Mail from Anderson we where told to wait at bus station „S“ and there was mi bus. Additionally there was no possibility to get anyone on the phone (I tried two numbers). Finally we found the bus at another bus stop „R“...
Response from Host, Nov 2019
Dear Nina
Thank you for your review of our Cambridge Day Tour.
We apologise for any confusion at the start of the day, regarding bus stops and will have a look at the automatic email.
Despite this we hope you enjoyed the sights of Cambridge as it is a beautiful and interesting city.
Kind Regards

Tony Rodgers lead our tour. He was very good. He covered the usual things about the colleges but what we liked best were the walks down the back roads. He showed us where major scientific discovers were made (eg. DNA) and historical sites like the Eagles Pub. We would go with him again!

Cambridge has to be seen to be believed! The tour had plenty of time for exploring, tours and punting on the river Cam. Don't miss this gem on your next visit to the U.K.!

The local guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The view from the tower of St. Mary's Church was worth the climb and the Fitzwiliam Museum was a great surprise.
Would like to have gotten more historical information form the tour manager.

I had been to Cambridge before but had never done a guided tour. The day I did the tour Cambridge was exceptionally crowded and it was also Graduation Day for some of the students so it made it difficult to get around and to hear the guide. The guide was very entertaining and knowledgeable and was able to tell us some very interesting things about Cambridge, both the people and the history. Coach was very comfortable and driver very friendly.
