Give yourself lots of time to read, learn and explore this important museum and don't skip the incredible warehouse, or Erotic Museum.
Exceptional opportunity and a must see for anyone who wants to learn about Peru from BC to modern times.
There was no lineup and only about 14-20 people total in the whole exhibits on a Thursday afternoon in early March.

This was a beautiful museum. There were so many artifacts of the Incas. We also ate at the restaurant on site for dinner and it was excellent.

Larco musuem has well-organized exhibition of a good collection of artifacts dated thousands years ago. It provides a good introduction of pre-Inca Peruvian civilizations

Outstanding museum with extensive archeological artifacts, multi-lingual guides with additional text description adjacent to each item on display, indicating the historic and cultural significance of each. I spent 2.5-3 hours touring the displays and gardens. Well worth the visit!!

Fascinating exhibits, wonderful, knowledgeable guide for an extra fee. We’ll worth the time and trip!

This is a must see attraction, and if possible before going to other location such as ruins. It gives a visual history of Perú. The museum is loaded with artifacts. While you are there enjoy a meal at the museum redtsurant.

There wasn't a line to skip in end of february. These might be good for peak season. There's a lot to read but a map is given to you so you can explore & guide yourself properly, i would probably opt for a guide next time because i 'm lazy.

This ticket never was sent nor was it available on the app. When I arrived, I paid regular price for entry.
The museum, however, was incredible! Fascinating history of Peruvian ancient civilization, and an enormous collection of artifacts. A must see—but just pay for your ticket when you arrive.

We were so impressed by the collection of ancient artifacts at Museo Larco. Both the pieces displayed in the extensive storage area as well as those in the well edited formal exhibit space were amazing to see. Buying our tickets in advance allowed us to easily pop in at the time that worked best for us during our single day in Lima.

Nice place, be sure to stop and have some coffee and desert in the restaurant. Interesting place to see some history.

The exhibition is a “must see”. Also the storage section was fascinating. Got to see more variations of the ceramics that where not exhibited

After a exploring Cusco and immersing in the Incan culture, this museum gave an excellent perspective on the totality of pre-Colombian history. Definitely worth the visit. Strong encourage dining at the restaurant where the food was quite good and the ambiance excellent!

I've never seen any other museum filled with such a big and thorough collection.
You can also visit a deposit where you can see all the items that are currently not in exhibition.

The Larco Museum is an incredible gem that houses hundreds of artworks from different Peruvian eras. The amount of information available in multiple languages was impressive and provided us with a deeper understanding of the significance of the artwork. We spent a full 3 hours immersed in learning about the rich history of Peru, which added a new dimension to all of the other outdoor activities we had done in Cusco and Lima. The Larco Museum is definitely a must-visit destination for anyone interested in Peruvian history and culture. In addition, the ticket provided direct entrance to the museum, and we were pleased to find that the luggage storage was free, allowing us to fully enjoy the exhibits without any hassle. The Larco Museum truly exceeded our expectations and made for an unforgettable experience.

Such an great museum and a must-do when in Lima! You can easily spend an hour or longer walking through the different rooms. The artifacts are absolutely amazing, especially when you think about how long ago they were made. Enjoy a coffee or glass of wine in the garden cafe afterwards for the complete experience!

Aprendimos mucho sobre las diferentes cultures prior to the Inca Empire and La era colonial.
