What a special experience! If you want to spend some time with some sweet horses this is it! A rural location in the Algarve but made by way as a solo traveler by Bolt/Uber! I was paired up with Mayax a sweet light colored horse, who let our group on a lovely walk around the property. You begin with the horses, giving them space to approach you, spend some time brushing them, head out for a walk, and then finish with some additional bonding time. It was absolute magic! Thanks again! Don’t miss this cool opportunity for horse and animal lovers! Even if you’re nervous, there’s a lot of support!

This was a lovely experience where you can really feel your soul being recharged by being in the company of these wild horses. Walking a horse, with the others following along, through a field of wildflowers in the hills of Portugal... no comparison! Sachin was a lovely host with a true love of nature and the animals. I have always been an animal lover and this was nothing short of a magical experience.
Trip got moved from 6pm to 4pm which wasn't an issue.
Got a taxi to the location provided but ended up on the side of the road.
Used Google maps to try and find location but was just sent down dirt roads,no sign posts to location at all.
Very disappointed as my daughter was looking forward to this very much.
We had an overall great experience walking with the horses and watching herd behavior. Our guide was very open and was happy to answer our questions about the rescue and the stories of the horses.
The horses could have slightly better ground manners but were very sweet and it was a pleasure being able to have been around them. If you're a beginner, make sure to ask for the easiest horse to handle and ensure you ask about their quirks beforehand!
I am an experienced horse person and had a great time, other than the horse I was leading simply becoming very playful while on the lead, but it was still a very fun experience to have!
What a wonderful and unique experience being able to walk beside the horses on this journey. The weather was phenomenal and so were the beautiful surroundings. The horses were lovely and being able to spend time and bond with them, learn and understand them as we walked was such a deep experience. I had Boneco who had quite a history and definitely challenged me at the beginning of the walk but towards the end we learned from each other and began to move in sync as we walked, it was an overhwelming experience and would highly recommend. Sanskin and the his sanctuary community were wonderful and warm hosts. Such a genuine experience.
We had a wonderful time with this two amazing humans Sakshin and Charlotte . Our two girls still talking about your beautiful horses and sayings ,when they grow up thy will come and work with you lol . We Really admire the work that you do , if there more people like you guys, the world would b a lot better place. Thank you for having us,we will definitely be back next time we in Portugal. It was lovely to walk with the horses! Charlotte and Sakshine were very nice. We ended up volunteering there to help with horses. The kids enjoyed it a lot. It was worth our time and we will do so again!
Мы получили огромное удовольствие от общения с этими прекрасными животными. Это был наш первый опыт. Наши лошадки, Майя и малыш Рокки, позволили нам понять характер этих животных и полюбить их. Полтора часа прогулки с ними по полям оставили незабываемые впечатления. Спасибо хозяевам фермы за эту незабываемую экскурсию, рекомендуем всем однозначно!
Auf jeden Fall ein schönes Erlebnis, meine Tochter (8) war auch sehr begeistert. Charlotte hat tolle Bilder von uns gemacht und während der Wanderung wurde auch auf unsere Bedürfnisse eingegangen.
