Exploring riverside areas by yourself can be dangerous, especially in an unknown area. Fernando was an amazing tour guide. He was very helpful and educational. We felt very safe the entire time and had a blast. We definitely recommend this tour for anyone coming to costa rica. The water was beautiful to tube down as it was a very blue color. We would definitely do this tour again and recommend him to others. We also saw a sloth on our tour spotted by him. My husband and I had such an amazing time!

Tubing was fun, the water was so beautiful. The rainforest around it was equally beautiful. We saw sloths, moneys, cows, and horses. We also saw beautiful birds and butterflies. It was low tide so the water was a little rough, but it was very relaxing for me.

Had so much fun tubing the Rio Celeste with my 10 and 16 year old daughters. The water was low but it was still a lot of fun. A perfect mix of rapids and calm pools. My 10 year old loved the rope swing and our guide got the howler monkeys going for us at a stop. Definitely something you’ll want to do while staying in the area! There wasn’t any walking/hiking involved; my 10 yo is asthmatic and she’s had some issues on other excursions while here.

We had a very good time and were grateful for the hard work of Fabian! We were able to sit back & take it all in. It was a beautiful trip down the river. The water is very cold so we did not play on the tarzan swing, etc because it wasn't hot out but it would probably be a very nice time if able. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area!

We went on this excursion as a family of six — with two 4-year-olds. Our guides, Fabian and Fernando, were fantastic. Took excellent care of us, including the kids who had a blast. Would definitely recommend!

Fernando was amazing ! I went with family, and not only did he show us sloths along the route, he did a lot of running around making sure we each had a great time rafting when we got stuck on the tubes. He showed us a mini cliff diving and even sulfur that he allowed us to put on our skin! Had a great time on this tour! Definitely recommend.

Tubing the rapids of Río Celeste was one of the best experiences we had in Costa Rica! Our guide Fernando was attentive to safety, making sure everyone had a comfortable and smooth ride. He also added extra excitement by spinning our tubes!
During the tour, Fernando spotted an adorable sloth, and we spent time observing it, taking photos. We also had a lovely break in a peaceful part of the river where we could swim.
After taking multiple tours in Costa Rica, I can confidently say this one offered the most value and enjoyment. Fernando is an outstanding guide with a true love for nature and a very warm, welcoming vibe. I highly recommend this tour!

We went with our 4 year old and 9 year old. It was a fun and relaxing morning. The staff works hard, Fernando helped our family moving along the rapids. He was fun and kind and spoke good english. The guide helping the other family did not speak english, but did a good job anyway. Would recommend if you're not looking for something very strenuous for yourself. My husband said he felt like a fat tourist sitting in the donut, letting the staff do all the work haha. We got fruits and towels at the end. Would recommend

This was a fun day trip from the La Fortuna area! We had a car, so drove to the pickup point ourselves. You start at a little restaurant/motel where there are bathrooms for changing. They will give you a helmet and a vest, so we just wore bathing suits and water shoes. A van takes you to the starting point (you can leave all your belongings in there) and the tubing trip takes you back where you started. The water is gorgeous and very refreshing. There were only 4 of us--two couples--and our guide, and we had a blast. The guide switches you around, so you have a chance to be in the front if you are in back. There are some very calm parts and some little rapids, but nothing crazy at all--just very relaxing. We were hoping to see some animals in the trees, but it wasn't our day for that. We did stop mid-way to find some hidden frogs, though, and then it rained for about 10 minutes which was kind of cool. The guide put some mud on our faces and we got some cute pics (phone in waterproof case around my neck). We jumped from the Tarzan swing into the water and had some time to just enjoy ourselves in the calm areas. When we got back to the starting point, they provided fresh watermelon, pineapple and papaya--yum! I would totally recommend this trip if for nothing else just to see the water.

Jefferson and Franando were excellent guides. River and surrounding area were awesome. We drove 3 hours to get there from Tamarindo. Much better roads than beach areas. We worth the 6 hour round trip

Tubing on the river with Fernando was hands-down one of the highlights of our trip. From the very beginning, he made the experience incredibly fun, welcoming, and interactive. Fernando has such a kind and positive energy—you can tell he genuinely loves what he does and cares about everyone in his group.
He kept us engaged the entire time, talking with us, joking around, and making sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. We felt completely safe throughout the whole experience, and thanks to his guidance, not a single one of us tipped over!

A fabulous adventure from start to finish!
Our guide, Ferdinand, was so upbeat, informative, and just an overall delight. He guided us so carefully to make sure we did not hit any rocks, he shared the secret of exfoliating mud from the rocks, and encouraged us to try the rope swing. We could not have asked for a better tour!

This is a really unique experience. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone wanting to explore the rainforest and Rio Celeste from the water. Fernando Dariel and David were a great team and really did absolutely everything possible to ensure we all had a positive experience. The company clearly prioritises safety above everything else which makes you feel safe and secure. I really did my research before choosing this tour provider and I now understand why they get such great feedback. We travelled with our three kids 17, 12 and 7. It was the right level of thrill to please us all. Our 7 year old was a little unsure at the sight of the level 1 rapids, but the guides made her feel very safe and within moments she was having an incredible time! She had a great sense of accomplishment and I really would like to thank the team for their efforts. My personal highlight was the breaks midway where you get to try the Tarzan swing into the refreshing minty waters. The team even dug into a crevice to retrieve some volcanic clay and we applied an incredible natural face and body mask to ourselves. So much fun! A very kind lady was waiting for us at the end with delicious fruit and a warm dry towel. Memories to last a lifetime. Gracias y pura Vida! Alia & family

Tubing the blue waters of Rio Celeste is a thrill! The guides are fun and experienced. It was safe and exciting! Swinging on the rope swing into the blue water was an awesome touch! Fernando runs a great crew. This is a must do activity!

This was such an amazing experience! Our guide (Fernando!!) was excellent at navigating us through the river - he was so strong!!! We saw two sloths and a couple different types of frogs! A perfect first adventure for our trip! He even let me go off on my own, as an adrenaline junkie :) If we’re ever back in CR we will be going again!
I also appreciated that he didn’t try to upsale anything. Just a perfect little float with a human that loves nature and teaching us all about it

Absolutely WONDERFUL experience! Fernando was especially amazing working with our 11 year old son with autism as well as getting our entire family of 5 down the river safely. It was pouring rain during our trip and we still had a blast...we laughed soooo much! The water in the Rio Celeste was amazing....so clean and dark sapphire blue during the rain. I'm glad we chose to drive a little further and go into the Rio Celeste vs. the tours by the volcano. Fernando made sure we didn't get stuck and guided our tubes (all hitched together) through the rapids. No one fell out or got hurt! Loved the the bottom of the tubes were padded so no one got hit by any rocks. The guys pointed out a sloth and found a beautiful tree frog during one of our stops. They also let the boys swing off a handled rope swing into the river as well as helped them climb up. Fernando also found some volcanic clay and we all got facials! Lol Annnd we did not encounter any snakes! I can't say enough about this tour, it's the best tubing adventure we've ever experienced. And we've been on several in the mountains of NC and TN. Thank you guys for the wonderful memories!

This was so fun! It was a bit more calm than I expected but that was ok for us. We went after a big rainstorm so the water wasnt super blue- but hey that is nature! Our guide was wonderful and made sure we enjoyed ourselves and learned about the surroundings.

The crew worked so hard today to make sure we were safe and had an amazing time. The water was beautiful and we had several chances to swim, jump off rope swings, cover ourselves in volcanic ash and see sloths. Shout out to Fernando for being so informative and fun!
