Coolest thing we’ve ever done!! 10/10

Diego at Pure Trek was an incredible guide! He made us feel very safe doing the repelling. I wouldn’t say we felt confident doing the first descent, but we did feel safe and as prepared as we could be, for people who have NEVER repelled except for an indoor rock wall. Our group consisted of a 13 year old all the way up to a 69 year old and we all left saying it was an experience they was unlike any other in our life! We HIGHLY recommend Pure Trek! Our ATV trip was excellent as well. Outback was a great outfit for the ATV’s. The course we got to ride was gorgeous and Frank was extremely patient and knowledgeable about everything we saw. We did try to get coffee after our ride and they made us leave before we got our order so we wouldn’t miss our tour at Pure Trek, so don’t waste your time going next door for coffee. It’s free at Pure Trek anyway :)

Highly recommend both companies that work together to provide this excursion. Safety was top priority and were incredibly helpful. My sister in law had an asthma attack near the very end and they were so kind and helpful.

Amazing Experience!

We started our day off by going to Outback adventures ATV. Pretty sure we were missed during pickup as it took 25 minutes after our pickup time and having to contact the tour operator before getting picked up. When we arrived everyone was already there. The ATV tour itself was amazing. Very beautiful routes that you ride through and we even stopped at the river for a swim to cool off. We purchased photos of the ATV ride, which was about 35 or 40 USD, but we only got like 4 photos. Still a very nice trip and way to see the volcano and jungles of Costa Rica. After our ATV tour we took a ride to Puretrek Canyoning where we changed and put our stuff in lockers. We ate a delicious typical Costa Rican lunch. Then we took a bus and then a wagon to our canyoning destination. I can’t remember any of our guides names, there were so many. But they were all very nice, funny, informative, and fun! We had an absolute blast canyoning down the five waterfalls and even the monkey drop! As someone who is very much afraid of heights (or fear of falling) this adventure and the tour guides are amazing at helping you conquer your fears! We wanted to do it all over again after our last rappel because it was that great of an experience and almost booked again for the next day. We paid for the pictures afterwards, which was totally worth it. This was by far my FAVORITE adventure in La Fortuna and plan to do this everytime we come back.

Had a blast riding ATV's first then the waterfalls. A fun day of adventure. We all loved the rappelling the best, but the ATV ride was also fun.
