Mountain bike along one of the best routes in Costa Rica with this Pedal and Paddle Adventure near Lake Arenal. You’ll see the Volcano, go through rainforest, and see the amazing wildlife living along this route. The duration is about 6 hours, the path is dirt and gravel, and bikes, guides and lunch are included on this ride.

We booked this tour last minute and glad that we did! My new hubby and I ended up getting a private tour which was amazing to be able to set our own pace.
This was by chance, and not guaranteed. The trail is good for all levels and the bikes are well maintained. They are hard tailed so be prepared for a sore butt if you’re not used to standing during bumpy spots.

Great trip. Guide was patient and helpful and brilliant at spotting wildlife. Interesting excursion into a local school! Unfortunately no river crossing!

Definitely mountain biking! Was more than what we had expected but a lot of fun. Hills up and down and lots of rocks. 2 of our 4 bailed out on the way back since we were a little nervous mountain biking with the hills - we are very good bike riders - just not used to the terrain. Had a boat pick us up and met up with the rest of the group at the end. Guide - Santos - was great! Definitely recommended if you like mountain biking!
