Well… we never heard from our guide. We waited at the meeting point… and we waited. He never showed up.

Basically our tour guide didn’t turn up so we didn’t do this tour We try to contact the tour company we called them and no answer We were awaiting for 1h at the collection point Very disappointed since we had to do our own stuff after

The operator never showed up. Ruined the entire day waiting around, trying to contact them. The phone number wasn't in service and the online chat went unanswered.

The half tour historical walking tour of Kyoto is a great way to quickly see some of the most important sites in Kyoto. Our guide Julian knew his stuff and was passionate about the history of Kyoto. It’s nice to be able to walk the city with a local at the beginning of your visit. The private tour is not much more expensive than taking a larger public tour for a family of four so it is a good value.

He was a wonderful tour guide and explained the history and importance of the temples and shrines. His English was terrific and he was very knowledgeable. His selection of sites and our routes on the train, walking and cab were well thought out.

Riccardo did a great job as our guide showing us Kyoto. He has very good knowledge of the history and culture of Kyoto. He ensured that the tour went at our pace (being four older people ) and adapted it to places we were interested to see. I recommend this tour as a great introduction to Kyoto.

Missed my tour due to the flight delays and cancellations - if you schedule this tour keep in to make it. No excuses. They did try once to communicate, but due to the plane issues I didn't reply fast enough to get them to reschedule something.

On our app the time was at 12 the guide had the meeting time at 1 PM. The guide did contact me via WhatsApp, however I had accidentally deleted my message and there was no way for me to contact the guide back on wats up. I had also messaged on the Viator app 12 days prior to confirm my pick up location and there was no response to the message. We had also had paid in our tour for our entry cost which the guide was not aware of. The company was disorganized. However, the guide him self was very sweet and kind. He was also was very understanding and was very educational of the spots we visited.

The guide Johannes was EXCELLENT. We recommend Johannes extremely HIGHLY. Kind knowledgeable. Great guide .
The tour organizer company were BAD. They told us they would give us details at 4 pm the day before the tour and they seem to have only advised the guide the morning of the tour. So we had to take a taxi and join the tour 30 minutes later after it had started.

Very nice tour of Kyoto, most of all thanks to Diego, our guide! He came all the way to our hotel to pick us up and this is so important because it reduces the risk of being late due to the easiness of getting lost in a city you don’t know. The tour itself gives you a glimpse of places and landmarks of east Kyoto, while also giving you important informations to understand the history behind it. 10/10 would recommend!!

Le guider n’était pas au rdv donc nous n’avons pas eu notre tour guidé de la ville, et malgré mes messages à Viator je n’ai reçu aucune réponse. Nous avons perdu notre argent. Mauvaise expérience et très mauvais service

TOUR prenotato a febbraio e ANNULLATO IL GIORNO PRIMA della partenza ad aprile (4 mesi dopo!) dall'operatore di servizio, dopo numerosi messaggi e telefonate a cui non hanno mai risposto. Non ho potuto organizzarmi alternative in loco quindi ho del tutto perso le visite.
Sto ancora attendendo il rimborso da parte loro ma a Kyoto non tornerò mai più in vita mia quindi direi l'esperienza turistica peggiore della mia vita.
