The studio is in #63 Murasakino Monzen-cyo Kyoto, only 2-minute walking to a famous Japanese temple Daitokuji. There is a road called Xin omiya syotengai street nearby Daitokuji temple. After going north along this street from the intersection of Kitaoji street,you will see our studio on your right.

The tittle says it all: She's a great host, very welcoming, extremely knowledgeable about the customs and traditions, specially Tea and Matcha related but more as well. She was a great conversationalist, with very good English skills. My wife and I had a blast.

I knew very little about what to expect but this was amazing, and totally worth the slight hassle to getting out to the location. The instructor was so nice and fun. She took a watch one, so one, teach one approach and it was a joy.

This was on my to do list when visiting Japan and it did not dissapoint. Our instructor was an amazing host and she explanined everything so beautifully. I definitly recommend this experince to everyone traveling to kyoto as a way to relax from the trip, learn about Japanese culture and enjoy the moment with great company.

This was an amazing and very interesting experience. Just the right balance of the formal tea ceremony and informal discussion about the meanings behind the different parts of the ceremony plus a chance for all of us to have a go. We all left wanting to integrate this into our future lives (and I am waiting for delivery of my matcha tea and whisk at the moment). Our host was so gracious and helpful, and enthusiastic to share this ritual with us. Would highly recommend!!

One of the best experiences we had in Japan. The instructor was very kind and friendly, while at the same time emboding the elegance and serenity of the tea ceremony. She guided is step by step as she was explaining everything in detail which left us with a deep respect and understanding for the ritual. We highly recommend it and we hope to come back one day to experience it again.
