The udon cooking class...

Tatiana_C, May 2026
The udon cooking class was fun. Kan and the chef were really nice. I made 3 different dishes which were all good. The sake tasting was good as well.

Family cooking lesson in Kyoto

Anthony_H, Aug 2025
Josh and Nakajima-san were both kind and friendly instructors. The cooking was enjoyable for our entire family; skip breakfast and bring your appetite because we got to make and try multiple dishes: hot udon, cold udon, shrimp and veggie tempura, a rice ball with salmon flakes and rice stuffed in tofu skin. After a short walk from the convenience store meet up point, we arrived at a restaurant where we used their kitchen for the cooking. The cooking/meal also included a free beverage which was nice. We found the location was convenient too, since it was near Nishiki Market so we were able to shop afterwards and Josh recommended some cat/dog cafes nearby to visit.
