I enjoyed my 1st visit so much that I returned with my adult daughter. How ever to experience it all you must be able to walk well and cope with stairs.

I went with some family members to see the Salt mines and all I can say is- we loved it! Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. You can tell he cares about the town and the people of Poland. Family friendly environment and a great way to get some steps in on a vacation! This is a healthy way to spend time with your family.

The salt mine Tore was simply fantastic. Well it is a lot of steps going down. It is certainly manageable. I’m 74 and my wife is 72 and we were able to make all of the physical requirements of the tour without a problem. Clearly the highlight of the tour is the beautiful chapel, salt figures, and the beautiful lighting on the way down.

A long walk to the lift about 14 mins and then back to the main entrance another 10 min walk. Lots of walking and your legs feel like jelly once you’ve climbed down the steps.

The pickup was a little chaotic: it was at a location where many people (also for other tours) were waiting at the same spot, and it wasn't clear what van we should look out for.
The tour was greatly organized. The tour guide was very experienced, friendly and spoke English very well. The only feedback that I have is that there wasn't much time on each location, we often felt in a hurry.

The tour is quite demanding physically and moves at quite a pace which might not suit everyone. It was often difficult to hear the guide especially when other groups were nearby.

An excellent tour, well organised with a very knowledgeable tour guide.
Highly recommend this tour.
However, be warned that a degree of fitness is required due to the number of stairs to descend into mines and amount of walking required to complete the tour.

A really nice clean van with good English speaking driver.

Changed the pick up time the evening before. We didn't have a phone in use at the time so never saw the notification. Inevitably we missed our collection time and company refused to pick us up at the previously agreed time.

Great place to visit really enjoyed the experience would definitely go again, did the 2 hour tour in the mine it's self but didn't get the chance to look round the museum, I was told that it would only last 2 hours and not the usual 3 hours which was a little disappointing ,but other than that very pleased.

It was supposed to be pick up from hotel but evening before I was sent a message saying I had to go to pick up some unfortunately I went to the wrong kiss and ride bus stop having done auswitz tour the day before I went to the same pick up , I received a call when the pick up was due asking me where I was , clearly a misunderstanding as I had only been in the country 48 hours so easy mistake
The man arrived very unpleasant , appeared angry that I had made simple
Mistake , no regard to fact that original booking was for hotel pick up , so I assume I may have paid a bit more for that option !
Anyway he was unpleasant
The tour guide Dominick was lovely and very knowledgable but overall I personally wouldn’t recommend this tour , it was long and drawn out and a little bit boring , couldn’t wait to get out

Brilliant from start to finish. Felt like we were really looked after. Timings were spot on too. Remember it's a long long walk not for anyone who has walking difficulties.

Very interesting to see and we knew it would be a lot of walking. The tour guide was lovely but as we didn’t have head sets and we were at the back of the group due to my partner using crutches we could not hear what she was saying very often. At the end we got separated from the group as we thought the first elevator was how we got back up but unfortunately it was just a service elevator. The museum tour was 40 minutes at the end but we decided that we had walked enough and eventually found the way out. No one looked for us. Just after we got off the elevator I received a call asking where we were. The tour operator obviously did not factor the 40 minutes at the museum into our trip as the bus was waiting on us. That is the main reason I’ve given it a lower score and getting separated from the group.

The main carved chapel the work that went into it is incredible. I would have liked more time at the last section was rushed. I also would have liked to see the museum.

Very good communication with the organiser from start to finish. The trip was very well organised and everything run to time. Samantha was a professional guide who spoke excellent English who always spoke clearly and loud enough to hear even when stood at the back of the group. I thought my older teen would have got bored on this trip but it was actually the highlight of her holiday!!

Shared our location, we were 3 minutes away. We arrived in 2 minutes and they were gone.
We were forced to reschedule our day and it departed at 9
The guide you start with is never seen again.
Very rushed and had no time to get something to drink or buy a magnet.
We were told to come straight to the bus when the tour was over. We were the first there. Everyone was there and we waited for 20 minutes for one person. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Been to 40 countries and countless tours with Viator. Never has someone changed the time by almost 2 hours and left us.

This place was amazing, the guide spoke excellent English and the group size was perfect to see and hear everything. Well worth a visit. The operators communication was a lacking after we came back out of the mine - but the group quickly worked out we needed to meet back at the tour bus. Overall excellent.

Tour guide at the Salt Mine was excellent. The transport company/driver didn't provide much communication and should have given a little time at the end to explore the gardens and grounds which I believe are very nice?

Our trip to the salt mine was very enjoyable. The tour guide spoke great English and was easy to understand. She was very knowledgeable and friendly, she made the tour a special experience we'll never forget! However it would be nice if there was time to visit the museum in the salt mine as well as we were told we would not have time to do this. Also, the hospitality going to and from the salt mine was poor. No one told us what was going on and we were passed between multiple people, none of whom introduced themselves or made any effort to build a rapport.

Very beautiful and the lighting inside was amazing to take pics. There are quite a few stairs going down but you take an elevator back up. Def recommend visiting.

The trip was brilliant from the pick-up to the full tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and excellent. The salt mines are amazing and huge your visit is just 1% of the mine. Be prepared for walking lots of steps downwards so wear appropriate footwear. Definitely recommend this trip if you are visiting nearby.

Great tour guide, friendly , interesting and knowledgeable. Did not like the descent into the mine at the beginning of tour - very long and endless flights of stairs. Would have helped if person at top had given us a heads up as to this. I felt quite panicked by it. Utter relief to get to bottom. Tour guide really calming with voice when we met her. The mine itself not at all claustrophobic, airy and wide spaces and high ceilings. Beautiful cathedral. Amazing carvings. Just be prepared for that descent.

I have just walked 45 min to a pickup point to go to the Salt miner in the pouring rain. I received an e mail to tell me to go to this meeting point because road works prevented this company from picking us up from our hotel. This was a complete LIE. There were no road works as I checked with my hotel. We even drove past our hotel on the way to the salt mines.
The only saving grace was our tour of the salt miners was excellent.
